Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

There is literal evidence that data centers are poisoning the communities around them & causing children to develop asthma and people don’t care….. like I genuinely think people got Covid and with it, lost their capacity for empathy.

The thing is, this isn't even the same type of AI being shoved down our throat. This is machine learning, which has been around for a while now, and generally can be run locally instead of need data centers The AI being forced on us that needs data centers is generative AI
