How wonderful to surprisingly find the Filipino Social Gathering @SPLCDOTCA in #ScarboroughAgincourt🇵🇭
I enjoyed the chance to speak 🗣️ with seniors at this event with food 🍲 , music 🎵 and karaoke 🎤 .
They were happy to hear about the 5% GIS increase campaign announcement by PM @MarkJCarney . A senior also reminisced about @ArnoldChanLib
It was good to chat and share the news with everyone else.

Sharing Tech-Empowered Healthy Living for Seniors with Dementia project and research findings at OACAO 2024 annual conference. "Tablets (pre-programmed in 15 languages) are provided to seniors living with dementia in Ontario & Alberta, along with related training and support. The smart tablets receive voice commands, send voice reminders and prompt for important activities of daily living. The tablet interacts with the carers when tasks are not completed for potential intervention." The project is funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada (
