ALT Dear Community, We have set up a public discord server for Splatoon Community members to easily get in touch with us! This server will provide: Anonymous reporting and inquiries channel Public ban information Announcements about Splat Safety This server will act as a more direct connection between our Council Members and the Splatoon Community. We hope to show further proactiveness in providing a safe environment for this amazing community we all love!
ALT We wanted to briefly explain the differences in the length of the bans that players received in this case. In reviewing the facts we considered several factors to determine the punishments: - How old were the offenders at the time? - How involved was each individual? - How recent was their latest offense? - How much influence did they have over the community at the time of the infraction? This was a case that had a lot of eyes on it, both within Splat Safety and the community at large. We have and will continue to take cases of racism seriously, especially by prominent members of our community, and we encourage any and all reports of this nature.
ALT Hello Splatoon community! We have been working on a case where a prominent member of our community has been accused of sexual violence by a former partner. We have decided to pause this case for lack of evidence at this time, and we are seeing many outraged comments about this on social media. However, we stand firmly behind our decision and would like to explain why.
