Why are so many companies proud they used AI?
It doesn't look good you know! It looks lazy and sloppy!

Fun fact: I have an internal Git instance that I've been using for a while. I've even got some archives of some repos, with their issues and PRs too!
It is for internal use only but if I've archived anything there that isn't available any more, I may make it partially public

Bad time to be a Debian user (from a Debian user)
🚨 BREAKING: A flaw in APT, the tool that installs software on Debian Linux, lets an attacker on the network tamper with a package after it passes verification and run code as root.
The bug, CVE-2026-109518, sits in resumed HTTP downloads. APT can merge two different downloads when a redirect gives them the same address, and a man-in-the-middle can then alter the file after its check.
Debian fixed it in apt 3.0.4, shipped to Debian 13 security updates on 4 November. Users should upgrade now.
Per Debian's changelog, the fix is four words long. "Open target files exclusively."

Even if everyone tells me to remove AI disclosures in SplameiPlay, I won't.
Consumers deserve to know how such an impactful tool has been used.
I've been having fun with the app that allows you to burn images to DVDs and I must say it's really a sign to behold! And the fact you can actually store data on it is crazy!

Google is trying to use its monopoly power to force AI into our public schools.
No corporation should have the power to dictate how we teach our children.
Our public schools exist to serve students, not to grow the profit margins of Big Tech.

This isn't what it's about. It's about AI theft and unauthorised scraping. It's about the excessive water and electricity usage. It's about the soulless and cheep creations.
AI is a useful tool, but not when it's the sole creator
