With “These Tears (Est8 Piano Mix)” recently passing 10M streams on Spotify, & the official video also sitting at over 10M views (the majority streamed in the last couple of years), I thought it was a good time to finally write down how it came about...

10 million streams. What started as a track we made with pure love in 2010 has become something so much bigger than we ever imagined. “These Tears” (Est8 Piano Mix) has now passed 10 million streams on Spotify. From the dancefloors of South Africa where it spent 8 weeks at #1 and 38 weeks in the Top 10… to still being streamed every single day years later. Thank you to every single person who has kept this song alive. Special love to South Africa for making it a true classic and adopting this record as their own. Thank you Emily Cook for those unforgettable vocals. Bamo for those unforgettable lyrics and Richard for beautiful Rhodes lick and mixing and Dan for Piano Mix. Spiro the team at Sony, the whole Bucks Music Group team and thank you to everyone at Guess Records, Kinetic Music Group, Downtown Music Publishing (Africa) and the whole team who believed in it from day one. This one still hits different.
