We need people like Peter advising government
Nobody wants to face the government spend problem as it requires universal cuts or massive tax rises. Overspending is THE problem - entrenched benefits, inflation, dependent class, corruption.

France has spent more than it has taken in for the past 52 years. The problem is not lack of spending.

🚨 Paris is on fire as rioters take over across France: Over 500,000 people have taken to the streets across France. Protesters and rioters have set fire to historic buildings, destroyed famous statues, and looted thousands of stores. Police have been seen driving away after being attacked and overwhelmed by the number of rioters as clashes broke out across every major city in France. Let this be a warning sign for the rest of the West: Hundreds of years of work and preservation gone in one day.

This is a really good idea. This is how the state pension should be
Michael and Susan Dell just gave $6.25 billion directly to 25 million American kids: $250 each, invested in the stock market through Trump Accounts. Add $100 a month until age 18, and that $250 becomes $1.2 million by retirement. At the market’s historical 7–10% average: By age 18: → $250 alone: $850 to $1,400 → Plus $100/month: $44,000 to $61,000 → Plus $416/month (the max): $180,000 to $251,000 By 67, contributing until 18 and never touching it: → $250 alone: $23,000 to $148,000 → Plus $100/month: $1.2 million to $6.6 million → Plus $416/month: $5 million to $27 million By 67, contributing every month for life: → $100/month: $1.8 million to $9.6 million → $416/month: $7.6 million to $39.5 million That’s why this is the greatest philanthropic gift in American history. They didn't give it to a nonprofit, a foundation, or an NGO, but directly to 25 million American kids, as ownership. Every one of them now owns a stake in the American economy and will grow up watching it grow. They’ll learn how the stock market and compounding turn small, patient investments into real wealth. God bless @MichaelDell and Susan Dell. American patriots. 🇺🇸 P.S. Every American kid under 18 with a Social Security number now has a Trump Account. Activate it at TrumpAccounts.gov and start contributing. Born 2025 or later? File Form 4547 to get $1,000 from the government. Born 2016–2024? Check InvestAmerica.org to see if your ZIP code got the Dells’ $250.

Civil servant 'secretly juggled five full-time WFH jobs simultaneously, raking in £350,000.' Kashim Chowdhury, 55, from Whitechapel, east London, was contracted to work 183 hours a week - more than the 168 hours available in one week. This just shows you how unnessesary civil servant jobs are, one bloke could do 5 at the same time 🤷🏽‍♂️

Rant alert... There is a serious problem with the "new left" and we are absolutely at war with them. This is a fight over freedom, free speech and the right to live as free people without their permission. The old left cared about workers rights and working people having a fair crack. This nasty new left, the projecting fascists, want complete control. They don’t want to win the argument, they don't really want to have the argument and they certainly want to make sure you’re not allowed to have it. They demand tolerance while trying to destroy anyone who disagrees with them. They will harass you, threaten you and attack you, even kill you. They hate freedom, they hate free speech, they hate people being successful and they want to steal your property, all of it. They hate the country, they hate you but secretly they also hate themselves. They are losers individually, so they have to collectively destroy things as a sign of success. They are the architects of decline. Arrogantly confident in their beliefs, but too stupid to read history or understand incentives, trade-offs and consequences. They will destroy everything, given the chance. Don’t let them win.

Unemployment up. Jobs disappearing. Inflation increasing. Energy bills set to spike in January. Taxes at an all time high and going up again at the budget. Borrowing costs at a 28 year high. The economy flat. Welcome to Labour’s car crash government. Andy Burnham is out of his depth.

John Healey is being warned he’ll have to put up taxes by £35 billion at the budget. That would be a disaster. The ONLY way out of this doom loop is to cut wasteful spending now.

Yes, recent official data from Germany's Federal Ministry of the Interior (July 2026 snapshot of ~148,000 open arrest warrants) shows about 87-88% involve non-German citizens. Only 11.2% hold exclusively German citizenship (1.5% dual nationals). Germans form the largest single group but are caught faster, so open warrants overrepresent foreigners (mainly Romanians, Poles, Georgians, Turks).
