Social Media these days = “You know those one liner emails at work that are misunderstood and make people mad? Let’s do that for major social issues!”
How it started: Don't move to Florida they said. It'll be hot in the summers they said.
How it's going:
ALT Weather Channel map showing every state in freezing cold temps except Florida.
I always appreciate Youyang's data & analysis, and this thread is no exception. He's asking the right questions - and now I have hope we've got the tools & answers coming.
We're hiring! If you know any mid to senior ASP.NET/C# developers who are looking for a new remote gig, check us out -

Our COVID payment hit the bank... and we promptly gave it away to charity so the people that really need it can benefit. If you've been lucky enough to have a solid job - consider this your encouragement to do the same!
OU & Florida: We're playing a pretty interesting game here.
ESPN: Anyway, back to our big story - Did you hear that Clemson is playing 2 days from now?
I live in Florida now. So especially tonight... #BoomerSooner!
Listening to this game rather than watching, but wow, if that wasn’t the most confusing end to a game I’ve ever heard... and I think the ref was just as confused as I was. 😆#OrlandoCity
Fairly safe to say today is the only time in history I’ll find out the president elect from College Gameday on ESPN. #SaturdayVibes
Lots of great quarterbacks at OU through the years, but Rattler might be my favorite. Of course I haven’t seen him play yet, but how can you beat that first name? #BoomerSooner
Game 7. Let’s do this (and try not to fall asleep because the game won’t end till midnight). #ThunderUp
Studies are done & $$$ spent to find out why "youth are leaving the church" with complicated answers. Meanwhile, this very obvious reason stares us in the face & applies to lots of my peers. The acceptance and even outright embrace of this behavior is baffling/frustrating.

It’s a blast to see basketball back and it’s fun to see the Thunder rolling. It’s weird that the game was 15 minutes from my house with no fans. It’s still 2020 - but sports are back! #ThunderUp
IMO, saying "if wait staff has to wear a mask don't go out" is counter productive even if good sentiment. Let's normalize mask use so it carries long after the numbers are down - not make it seem like if we wear them it's still too dangerous to resume activities. #WearAMask
