Civil rights activists bled and even died to make sure the Voting Rights Act was signed into law 61 years ago today.
Today, Trump is trying to suppress every American's fundamental right to vote.
Stop the SAVE Act. Pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
We must end the grifting and hold violators accountable.
Wall Street firms can pay Truth Social $100,000 a month for early access to market-moving presidential posts.
High-frequency traders get a head start. The money flows to a company where the president is the major shareholder.
It's hard to imagine a clearer conflict of interest.

Tuesday was a victory for Democracy and Kansas. Once again, Kansans definitively voted to protect women's healthcare. By keeping our Supreme Court free from political influence we also protected funding for our public schools and voting rights.
As for the US Senate race, I congratulated Adam Hamilton and offered do everything in my power to make him the next Senator from Kansas.
I also want to congratulate all the candidates and their teams for a race well run. As for my team and supporters, thank you for your belief in me, ongoing support and tireless efforts. While I would've been one helluva Senator, I will continue to fight and find a meaningful way to make a real difference for Kansans. #onward

I’m not voting for the ICE funding bill. ICE is invading my state and communities across the country, has cut training from 5 months to just 47 days because Trump is the 47th president, and is ramming into people’s houses without a judicial warrant. They are making Minnesota less safe.
Another senseless killing by ICE in Minneapolis this morning. The Senate must vote against funding for ICE until the Administration:
1) Removes ICE from MN
2) Implements ICE operating procedures that adhere to the Constitution, federal, state and local laws, and trains leaders and agents on them (including de-escalation strategies and tactics)
3) Investigates violations and cooperates with state and local investigations
4) Holds ICE agents and leaders accountable
5) Stops lying about ICE actions when video shows otherwise
And Congress must impeach Kristie Noem for gross mismanagement of DHS.
We must demand ICE reform now. It’s in Minneapolis today, but could be in Kansas tomorrow.

There has been another shooting involving federal agents in Minneapolis and I am working to get more information. I will update as soon as possible. To the Trump administration and the Republicans in Congress who have stood silent: Get ICE out of our state NOW.

Today we marched together in below zero weather. Thanks to the thousands and thousands of Minnesotans who turned out to stand up and speak out. ICE OUT.
Feeding hungry children is truly pro-life. Thanks, Governor Kelly.
No child in Kansas should ever have to worry about having enough to eat. That's why I am, again, including funding in my budget to allow students currently on reduced price meals to move entirely to free meals. ksnt.com/capitol-bureau/kans…
ACA tax credits must be extended. We already know that @RogerMarshallMD will vote yet again against keeping healthcare affordable for Kansans.

Minnesota is meeting fear and division with decency and generosity.
Across the state, we’re seeing neighbors helping neighbors. Grateful to First Congregational Church in Anoka for inviting me to see that work in action today.
$1.4B due to the grift of this Administration. We deserve ethical leaders who serve the people. Congress must step up and assert their authority as a co-equal branch and put an end to the grift.

One year ago, President Trump took an oath to serve the American people. Instead, he used the presidency to enrich himself, the @nytimes editorial board writes. This is how Trump has pocketed at least $1.4 billion. nyti.ms/49uhAWW

Trump’s year in office has been defined by three things: corruption, chaos, and cruelty.
What could possibly go wrong?! Dear lord.
OMG ROGUE DOGE (I mean it’s just stealing your social security info to overturn elections..all in good fun):
“DOGE employee signed agreement to share Social Security data w/the aim of overturning election results in certain states” per DOJ court filing. washingtonpost.com/politics/…
This is crazy. We’re sharing intel wit Putin?!
BREAKING: A French media report says Ukrainian intelligence stopped sharing high-value intelligence with the U.S. after concluding American leaks were reaching Moscow, citing a severe breakdown of trust during the Trump administration. The claim is attributed to senior Ukrainian intelligence leaders.
Between this and the Greenland mess, can we just impeach Trump already?

We need term limits and a binding code of conduct and ethics for the U.S. Supreme Court.
Justice Thomas has been on the bench almost as long as I’ve been alive — that’s not good government.
There is no binding code of conduct or ethics for Justices of the Supreme Court — that’s dead wrong.
Congress can and must do something about this, and I’m working to get it done.
