Brazil’s election is likely the most unfollowed global event. Do you like breathing oxygen? Then you should care who wins next week, bc one guy wants you to keep breathing and the other wants to burn trees
Brazil registered the lowest Amazon deforestation rate on record over the past year, allowing President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to claim success on a key issue that’s been at the center of his platform bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Adam Schefter is a owner and investor of two sports betting apps. Within a span of hours he tweeted that Jalen Hurts wouldn’t be put on injured reserve. Hours later the eagles put Hurts on IR. How is this not investigated?

The “flying” Tesla is such a bleak symbol. A fake invention for a fake society that’s facing mounting real problems.

it’s a cliche exercise, but imagine if you read about another country where the head of state was looking to strip citizenship of a prominent critic from ethnic and religious minority. you wouldn’t have to think on whether it was fascism.

The Russian diesel deal stinks. There is nothing redeeming about it. The initial shipment alone is worth nearly half a billion dollars. Under the terms of the deal, the US could eventually give nearly $7 billion to Russia which is over 3 percent of Russia's defense budget. Russia is the side literally striking kindergartens with drones and missiles. Ukraine will pay for this in blood. We cannot credibly ask and demand that other countries make sacrifices to isolate Russia while cutting deals that sustain its war economy.

Mr. Altman: What “bad things” should we accept to advance AI?
Losing tens of millions of jobs?
A mass surveillance state?
A mental health crisis for our kids?
A global financial crisis?
Mass extinction?
Let’s not wait to find out. Pause advanced AI NOW!

wow instead of telling the restaurant what you want, you can now tell a computer to tell website to tell a restaurant what you want- great american innovations in the field of rent seeking and middle-mannery
You can now just text DoorDash and let it order for you. It’s proactive, learns from your repeat orders, and helps you find the best deals and new spots.
Just tell it what you want without any extra setup. Ask it to reorder your usual, or add it to a group text to collect everyone’s orders. You can even send a photo of your fridge and it’ll tell you what ingredients you’re missing for a recipe you want to make and deliver the ingredients to your doorstep.
We believe agents are a new app paradigm and are building for that future at @AIatDoorDash, with a lot more to come. This feature is in beta in the US, would love for you to let us know what you think! Waitlist: doordash.com/text

He didn't answer the question.
He rambled about his name change.
We are governed by a toddler and if you voted for him, you're one of the dumbest people in this country and I don't know you watch this and dont feel embarrassed for your vote.
Sherrod Brown losing due to global anti-incumbent wave in an election where he isn't the incumbent because median voters in Ohio are so disconnected they don't know who their Senators even are...
Checking in with a few GOP voters in Ohio
“I don’t know a whole lot about Husted,” said Debbie Grenko. “It’s Sherrod Brown in there, right?”
Ted Hull said that Brown, whom he thought was still in office, seemed to have “become lazy” on the job

Private Equity has fully encroached on Youth Sports.
They are preying on the fears of parents, convincing them that their kids are behind their peers, and forcing the kids to specialize WAY too early.
They manipulate parents into paying outrageous fees for travel teams, showcase tournaments, and bogus recruiting services.
Private Equity DOES NOT care about your kids.
They don't care about the development of young athletes.
They don't even care about sports at all.
They ONLY care about profit.
They worship the almighty dollar.
They will promise you the world while they shake you down for every penny.
Resist the grift. Push back on the lies.

It’s not just absurd; it’s stupefyingly dangerous.
