Who cares that he lied to gdq? He suffered the consequences for that, his run is a legit segmented speedrun.
[Reddit Galaxybrain posters supporting a dude who literally lied to the biggest speedrunning event after people spent thousands of dollars to see a run]
Yeah Mario in 64 controls like a tank on ice skates. Sunshine controls like a chihuahua wearing a jetpack wearing a jetpack, and Galaxy controls like a half-full jug of milk covered in honey.
Weird that Minecraft would disallow non-livestreamed runs. Not everyone's bandwidth can handle livestreaming. What am I going to do, modify the game's drop rates?
Speedrun.com's new owners have covered it in so many ads you can't even see the content

The crowd memes are by far the least offensive thing about GDQ events. With no crowd or couch to get in the way, theres nothing to stop the reading of etxremely cringey donation messages.
HAHA. PUNS. GET IT GUYS? Also my dad died 16 years ago while I was playing Mario.

First they came for the emotes, and I did not speak out, for I am not an emote.
"hey dream did you cheat?"
"no"
"well I guess he didn't cheat, because if he did, he wouldn't talk to me"
I, too, have clipped out of bounds for the opportunity to slam. This [Cyberpunk 2077] speedrun speaks to me on a spiritual level.

Y'all, you're joking right? We are already passed the $500 mark? AND THE FIRST RUN IS STILL GOING? We are floored over here. Thank you so so much for helping out @AbleGamers and keep those donations coming! We have plenty of incentives to meet!

What I don't understand is how willfully and flippantly these people are admitting to very serious crimes.
Coming out and publicly saying you've raped or assaulted someone doesn't really bode well for your freedom.
