I get that we are so far past the point where fact checking matters but it cannot be stressed enough that there’s like six trans women in the entirety of college sports and like, in the name of radical transparency, they’re mostly not even good.

Aerosols are not magic, they are defeated by ventilation, filtration and masking.
Clean indoor air isn’t just about reducing Covid transmission, it also reduces the transmission of all other airborne illnesses, including measles.

Y’all refuse to mask, y’all don’t get tested, y’all open mouth cough and sneeze everywhere, y’all don’t wash your hands & y’all think just bc you don’t have symptoms you’re not contagious. It’s been 5 years.

Seems important that in Fahrenheit 451, books were still “available” in single-paragraph summaries—“read Hamlet in five minutes!”—but the books themselves had been banned for being too difficult. Tech boosters see a warning and think it’s an instruction manual.

Personally, I read a bunch of classics in high register in college. I guess it was fun. I recently ChatGPT'd Aristotle into readable English, finished it around 5x as fast as a translation, and felt I got the main gist of things. idk does the pain incurred actually teach much?

If I were a grocery chain I would open a store directly next to every Kroger doing this and my only advertisement would be “come to our normal store where we don’t do this”
Families are struggling to put food on the table. I sent a letter to @Kroger about their decision to roll out surge pricing using facial recognition technology. Facial recognition technology is often discriminatory and shouldn't be used in grocery stores to price gouge residents.
