🇷🇺🇺🇸 Russia says it is ready to supply unlimited diesel to the United States.
where are the journalists who were accusing India of funding the war now? Also @realDonaldTrump you had put tariffs on India doing something similar? No spine?
Reminder : Cisco was a bad investment after 2000, but a spectacular one from 1990 to 2000.
Narratives move prices long before fundamentals catch up.
Many of us are in 2021 narratives and sad alts are not moving.
SITUATION DETECTED: CloudFlare CEO Matthew Prince says he is aware of additional severe vulnerabilities in other pieces of critical software, and said “I think we’re going to have a couple years where every single week it’s going to feel like the sky is falling,” per Reuters.
Betting on plumbing is like betting on treasuries to get revenue from yields and inflation.
Businesses are getting built on top with real revenue meta.

Why are we so attracted to buying the plumbing? Base should never launch a token in my mind.
Cardano is a top 15 token. Can someone please please explain WHY?
I am researching into revenue meta of Open Finance asset class.
ADA made $142K last year. It’s worth $8 billion.
As per CMC it is the 15th biggest crypto in the world.
last year, the chain kept $142,000 in revenue.
that’s not a typo. a small café can do that in NY could do that.
i’m not here to dunk on ADA. i'm genuinely asking: what am I missing? if I am missing something? where's the revenue meta? what are investors buying? why?
because the numbers for me are not adding up.
The economy
Every app on Cardano combined (DEXs, lending, perps, NFTs) holds $63.5M.
the token is worth about $8 billion.
for every $100 of ADA, less than $1 is actually doing something onchain.
those apps earned about $286K in the last 30 days, roughly $3.4M a year. solana’s apps earn that in a few days, pump revenue is $45.4M in last 30 days on Solana.
The trading
ADA trades about $344M a day on exchanges.
its own DEXs do about $1M.
people trade ADA far more than they use Cardano.
The dollars
stablecoins are where the real money in crypto lives.
cardano has $70M of them.
TRON has $95 billion. that’s more than 1,000x as much.
The valuation
ADA is priced at over 50,000x what the chain earns. Solana is around 2,300x, and TRON is 93x.
even counting every app on Cardano, ADA trades at over 2,000x their revenue. Solana trades at 28x.
The ecosystem
two DEXs, SundaeSwap and Minswap, make about 75% of all app revenue.
lending exists but barely earns. Its stablecoin, Djed, shows no revenue. Some of its best-known apps earned nothing at all last month.
“But Bitcoin doesn’t earn revenue either.”
Fair. But Bitcoin isn’t trying to be a platform. It’s digital gold, and it’s priced like one.
cardano pitches itself as a smart contract platform. So it gets measured against ethereum and solana, not bitcoin.
What is not making it meme hyped token?
to be fair, this isn’t a badly run chain. It’s the opposite.
it ranks #8 of 172 on DefiLlama’s token rating, one of the best for transparency and disclosure.
it’s highly decentralized, has never had a major outage, and its peer-reviewed, careful development culture is real.
its community is one of the most loyal in crypto.
So here’s my question
cardano is well run, secure and loved. but there have been many chains with better revenue and apps built on top.
ada just doesn’t have an economy yet.
it isn’t priced on what it does today. It’s priced on belief in what it will do, and it doesn't do much.
So if you hold ADA, tell me:
what’s the catalyst? a killer app? a big stablecoin? institutions/etfs?? something I’m not seeing?
what makes it worth $8 billion today?
I’ll read every reply.
data from DefiLlama; price and rank from cmc. not financial advice.
Leave tokenised stocks, people should be excited about debt markets in RWAs.
Lending businesses are real with huge upfront cost covered by finance entities giving exposure only to the elite class.
God! more you read more exciting this space gets.
When the Internet of Finance could give opportunity to invest in
> next Tesla of Nigeria,
> next SpaceX from India,
> next shoes brand in Vietnam
> next social media
> next AI inference startup
> next data centre building entity in Singapore
> next neobanks and finance banks
why are people still grabbing and trading memecoins? Not a win-win game for us a society.
add value, back builders, make things happen.
@MetaDAOProject @umia_finance you guys gonna rule big time.
Crypto and Web3 are such terrible branding.
As an industry we should pivot to Open Finance or FinanceNet giving opportunity to everyone for making global investments.
It’s an industry which unites finance, removes barriers, middlemen, boarders and complications.
Everyone associated should feel proud of this FinanceNet, Internet built for finance.
Pearl is exciting and cool. I get the hype from KOLs like @andyyy and others, but I was looking for answers, so I took a deep dive.
I like the promise: Bitcoin-style compute doing useful work, not just wasting energy.
But for now, it's Bitcoin masquerading in an AI costume. People are paying for the hype and the possibilities, not for what's available today. (Not complaining here, markets mostly work like this.)
1> Who's actually doing AI work?
Apart from partner Together AI, the major miners don't seem to be running AI. They're trying to mine early before difficulty rises. I understand why: the audience is still web3, and selling inference should come as it matures.
Source: arxiv.org/pdf/2606.04819
Section 4.3 concludes "the dominant mining software performs no AI inference" (based on one pool, late May; the author calls the evidence strong but not conclusive).
2> The early land grab
Early mining was easy. Pearl's own whitepaper says the low starting difficulty was partly meant to fund the core team. How much the team mined is still unknown. No one knows that figure.
And what about miners who joined late? Are they accumulating? Selling? Or waiting to cash out as liquidity grows?
3> The business is opaque
Pearl sells Gemma at $0.09 / $0.34 per million tokens, 65–77% below Together's standard price, under "special launch" pricing.
How much revenue is it collecting from Together AI? Where is it being used?
4> Not ossified like BTC
Whoever calls Pearl "a better Bitcoin with useful work" should know Pearl isn't ossified like BTC. It had four mining-rule forks between June and August, shipped by one company with no outside governance.
One of them, the rank-penalty fork, reportedly cut some miners' effective hashrate by 50–87.5% overnight.
5> Why a token?
The question I keep asking: why Pearl as a token? Isn't it just DePIN?
Together AI gets to double dip: selling compute and mining. Maybe the same opens up for miners later, where they collect real cash alongside mining Pearl. So, gamified DePIN?
6> The supply math
Pearl mints about 1–1.16M tokens a day. At today's price that's roughly $2.4–2.8M a day.
Market cap: $854M. Circulating supply: 352.8M.
Next 6 months: ~164M–189M new tokens, so +47% to +54% supply.
Next 12 months: +85% to +97%.
At this point it looks like a hype engine: a blockchain with undisclosed revenue, and an easy land grab for miners who sell to retail as Pearl grows.
But seriously why do one need one more token? why not just DePIN?
Only counterweights for me are that the people are credible academics, the code is open, and no coins were coded to the team. Most of these flags are about disclosure and timings. Also market man being market man.
Name of the game was always -
subtract distraction, add focus.
I caught attention of Venice AI when it was so so undervalued but didn't focus enough to understand the basics.
People double down on basics, asking right question at right time opens right opportunities.
Web3 is healing.
Its more concentrated on the roots for which it was designed. Not experimentations. Not shady - hyped things but real world use cases.
Today we are more focused on
a) dollar access (stablecoins, especially in emerging markets)
b) asset access (tokenized treasuries, stocks, gold — open, global, 24/7, composable and could be put on for work)
c) speculation (perps markets are growing and leading the revenue meta also predication markets)
d) Privacy (it is a real but separate niche, limited to privacy coins and facing heavy regulation)
Outside finance, gaming has largely failed, NFTs are a shrunken collectibles niche seems it was just an experiment all along hopefully soon Memes will die like NFTs
DePIN is the one small category with real non-financial revenue. Also Private AI.
4 blockchains can already protect your coins from quantum and AI attacks.
Bitcoin isn’t one of them. Neither is Ethereum.
Over the last month, those 4 beat both by up to 20x.
Word on the street is that @RobinhoodCrypto will be announcing a 9-figure builder grant initiative.
Monad
RWA Foundation member @Solana leads tokenized credit growth in 2026 with +$228M.
Via @tokenterminal,
Innovations are either happening on L2 or L1s like Solana, Monad, Zcash, Near - any popular dApp I may use on Ethereum other than yield and DeFi?
