Maybe a hot take, maybe not, but if u ask me giving someone unrequested advice can often feel like an ego move from the person giving the advice
Obv depends on circumstance but still

Minecraft used to have such an interesting and unique, almost mystical atmosphere.
It sucks to see it slowly get morphed into a generic, "cutesy" Tumblr coded game ngl.
Take a moment & get lost in the Sift.
Pre-order today before September 29 to get exclusive in-game cosmetics: aka.ms/minecraft-dungeons-ii…

ive really never been able to focus and just play brawlhalla in a tournament that mattered to me. and every time i lose because of what feels like derealization and disassociation it always just feels so hopeless to try to fix myself mentally. ive been trying for years now to use
Brawlhalla genuinely needs another MVS to rival with otherwise they're just permanently in the Bahamas drinking margaritas with their feet up until their game servers close

bro i stopped watching brawlhalla streams for this exact reason. the new system is so bad i can't link my ubisoft account to my steam account cuz ubisoft thinks that my accounts is in danger and locks it EVEN THOUGH I placed the correct password

Read the comments on this post. The anti-AI crowd is completely delusional.
Super Smash Bros. Melee being 100% decompiled is a huge accomplishment. AI helped accelerate the work, and people are calling the result “slop” because Claude was involved.
At this point it doesn’t even matter whether you like AI. This is happening anyway.
Arguing against AI in game development is like arguing for horses when cars arrived, or typewriters when computers showed up. You can hate the technology as much as you want. It doesn’t stop everyone else from using it.
Five years from now, game devs who completely refuse to touch AI will be obscured into nothingness.
There will obviously still be successful games made without AI, just like there are still people making things by hand today, but they’ll be the exception, not the norm.
GPT Astra has accelerated this even further. It’s the best model I’ve used for game dev so far, and the important part is that it won’t stay the best for long. Models that feel capable today will be surpassed by even better ones tomorrow.
I have zero idea how to code, yet I can already build things in hours that would have taken me months or required hiring developers before. Imagine what this looks like after another five years of model improvements.
This is only the beginning.
You can adapt or you can spend the next few years calling everything “slop” while the rest of the industry moves on.

opinion: trash talk makes the game way more fun and it’s completely okay to call someone trash after beating them, especially in tourney, and if you get genuinely hurt that i called you trash in a game, that’s on you
