Very excited news: a squatted community centre has been opened in Oxford. Do go along, enjoy the space and join in! Sounds like there will be food as well as community space, talks and workshops all weekend.
From Resisting Anti-Tresspass: Yesterday the AWS in London was evicted by riot cops. Today the Community Solidarity Centre in Oxford is born. They will continue to evict us from our homes and take away community spaces... and in response, we will continue to create oases of solidarity, mutual aid and community, new homes and social centres popping up in buildings left to rot. We have squatted the empty East Oxford Games Hall in protest of the closure of community spaces in East Oxford, and in solidarity with the Autonomous Winter Shelter. If you're around Oxford, come visit the Community Solidarity Centre for a weekend of workshops, talks, food and music! We welcome you to come with ideas of how you'd like to use the space.
