Universal take the noise issue very seriously. We’ve seen people setup with microphones on tripods recording in various neighborhoods around the park. We’ve noticed Blair Drive peeps get acoustic panels setup during the 2 months of Halloween Horror Nights.

Saw this on an Alaska Airlines flight (new 737/8) yesterday.
Hey @TMobile try coming to the Greek Theater in Los Angeles - a venue with about 5900 seats. There you will find TMobile users offered the satellite option to send a text on our phones because there is zero TMobile coverage there. Please do better. Thx a long term subscriber.

Fred I’m in LA. Cybercab weirdly parked on my quiet residential street (near Universal Studios) yesterday morning. Driver didn’t want to engage. Pretty sure it had a steering wheel.

There’s a solar roof tile job being installed in my neighborhood (Los Angeles). Are there other brands?
Hey @apple. iOS offline podcasts: I download some because I want to listen to them off the grid. But it turns out you have to START them (just a couple of seconds) while online. If I don’t do this then my device complains I’m not connected and they won’t work. Please fix!!

Totally agree. Money well spent on YouTube Premium. I learn a lot from YT.
Oh @carbonite you’ve succumbed to the great move towards collective enshitification. Now there’s nowhere to connect with a real person on your website. Been a customer for many years. I have a simple request. Thx

“Clutch”? I think you mean “crutch”. I for one enjoy your weekly podcast. I hope you’ll give us lots of Canadian perspective in the upcoming months. Elbows Up!

Also, buy a replacement capacitor for the current one that will inevitably fail on the hottest day of the year. It’s the #1 thing that fails and is easy to swap out.

Agreed. And I challenge the CEO of any healthcare company to explain *Even the simplest* Explanation of Benefits numbers…
Hey @kcrw “surpassing triple digits” would mean 4 digits. I know that’s not what you mean…

That’s in a very remote spot. If you have time try the Musical Road in Lancaster
Hi @MayorOfLA I’ve been walking the closed section of Mulholland every Sunday since Feb. Of the 4 slides 2 smaller ones are done. 2 larger ones just need filling but seem to have stalled. Loads of expensive rented plant lying around which I hope you’re not paying for by the day.

I have been signed up for years. It’s a good start but it’s only marginally useful knowing “portions” of my neighborhood have lost power. I hope you’ll refine this to include a link that might show the actual geographic area affected one day.

Agreed on it being all about the host being hot!
