i just checked my hours and i have been averaging 13 hrs/day 6-7 days a week on this game
looking at like 1.5 years more at this rate before it's out (or close to out)
will definitely announce well before then
still a ton to do but making good progress
stay safe out there 👍
here is a video game i have been watching be developed by "bad bad badler" for years that you will now enjoy soon in demo form. thank you.
After 5 years of development, it's finally happening: I'm releasing #Archrebel's demo on Steam on October 16th, so you can experience the mechanics I've been tinkering with for more than a decade, heavily inspired by REBELSTAR and LASER SQUAD.

One more thing: The game launch today also serves as the launch of my new web. A gallery and alley of hand-crafted creations that I hope you can lose yourselves in through each of its many branches.
If art, design and dev are your thing, do check it out!

Bare Knuckle II (Streets of Rage 2) in the actual streets of Tokyo.
I’ve been building an engine to reconstruct games and re-render them in new ways.
One of them is spatial rendering. This runs standalone on Meta Quest 3 with a PS5 gamepad.

When spring is finally here, going far from home can be dangerous but fruitful. Sometimes all you need is just a plunge in the river.

Dick Van Dyke isn't just a legendary actor and dancer. He was also a devoted Commodore Amiga user.
He bought his first Amiga in 1991, got hooked on LightWave 3D and the Video Toaster, and started making his own 3D animations and effects at home.
He even used that setup to create a CGI motorcycle stunt for an episode of Diagnosis: Murder — a shot the production couldn’t safely film — and received an on-screen credit (and $200) for the work.
He later spoke at NewTek / LightWave and Amiga events and showed his animations at SIGGRAPH.This is one of the pieces he made on his Amiga.
What a legend!
i'm not really worried about ai vibe coders trying to push a clone of my game to market when i finally announce it bc if they try to, their computer will grow two cartoon hands, pull out a gun and shoot itself
