My upcoming 40th birthday marks 6 years of volunteering with @merseysidewr so I'm raising vital funds for new kit. Basic kit for 1 volunteer costs £500, fully kitted out costs £1200. Every penny will go towards training and kit for our team ❤️

I am so incredibly proud of how MWR responded to this casualty, there's no doubt in my mind that the swift action has saved this man's life. Our team started CPR, having recognised the severity of what was unfolding and climbed up the stage to assist him.

What did you and @BridsonLewis do on your day off together? CPD!
At #Winterstorm2025, really interesting line-up hearing first-hand accounts from responders and SAR experts.

I've volunteered with @merseysidewr for 6 of its 7 years, and it's more than just a charity - it's my second family ❤️
Volunteer’s Week is particularly close to our heart ❤️ We all give our time, on & off shift, to keep MWR afloat - not just operationally but in so many other roles which often go unseen. Thank you to all of our volunteers - #volunteersweek #community #Liverpool
This is how me and @BridsonLewis spend our weekends - no matter your background, if you’re committed to helping others, thrive in teamwork, and love a challenge, want to hear from you!

During my time, I've also gained my @RYA Level 2 Powerboat licence, become a trained First Responder and attained my DEFRA 1 with @surflifesaving through MWR, and in the near future @UKLSI1 Search Technician. Let's see what 2025 brings 🙌
I'm so proud of my fellow volunteer Aaron, very well deserved recognition from Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society ❤️
