Direct Hit: #Solarstorm prediction models from both NOAA & NASA show the storm hits April 14, just ahead of a fast solar wind stream! This should intensify the storm as the stream will give it a push from behind! #Aurora field reporters, be sure to charge your camera batteries!

X1 (R3) strong radio blackout occurred 30/1:37pm EDT from RGN 2975. Initial indications are this flare was associated with a new CME and forecasters are examining data to verify any such CME. See full story at swpc.noaa.gov/news/x1-flare-…

The filament eruption on the 6th is expected to arrive at Earth in some form of a hit early on the 10th based on SWPC & NASA ENLIL.
While the eruption did produce a full halo in C2 imagery, it was an asymmetric halo with a southward pull, which could impact the arriving hit. 💥

Weather news from the heliosphere: Apparently 2 solar eruptions at the end of January led to really good solar storm signatures (flux ropes) in the magnetic field data from three spacecraft: DSCOVR at L1, @ESASolarOrbiter, and @NASASun STEREO-Ahead, spread over 35°.
Nice.😋
