On the eve of his 18th season, Curry commits on a new extension honoring his desire to finish his NBA career with the Warriors. He also took $20 million less than his maximum salary, per @BobbyMarks42, accepting a deal that now gives the Warriors significant cap space next summer.
Golden State presented Curry with a slew of options -- max deals, discounted salaries for team-building upside, or waiting into the season or next offseason. But both sides land on a critical extension to bring clarity on the season and lock in Curry for year 19 and potentially 20.

Last season was easily the worst experience on social media as an LFC fan for me personally. I got plenty of stick for predicting us to finish 4th at the highest this season but I knew my squad was one of the most imbalanced ones in recent times. Add to that a new young coach with great ideas who will take time to work out his best combos all over the pitch , it was always going to be a bumpy ride. Yesterday was one of the bumps. I don’t feel the need to air my views at every “see I told you” game or moments. It is what it is for now. Plenty of work needed on and off the pitch in next 12 months. Ride or die #lfc 🔴

Liverpool finished eighth in the Premier League, and they lost both the League Cup and Europa League finals .Yet that season is now viewed as the beginning of something special because Klopp had started to build an identity and restore belief.
Iraola deserves the same perspective,A new manager needs time to implement a different style, establish his standards and get the squad fully comfortable with his ideas.

Liverpool's defensive issues are a carbon copy of early Klopp years, where the defensive line is high but the initial high press fails, leading us stuck between a rock and a hard place
Teams are SO good at timing runs and passes against high lines. It's why the best sides have adopted mid blocks instead of aggressive high presses.
Future Liverpool states will hopefully get the balance right, but until then, we are going to keep seeing the same goals scored against us.
The only difference this season vs the end of last season is the hunger and fitness levels the boys have to get a result from the jaws of defeat.
Very, very happy with tonight's performance. I hope we get back to being the best attacking side in Europe. Early signs look positive.
