We hate it when people point guns at us. Like, a lot.
We also love going home. All our stuff is there.
Therefore, if you point your gun at us and cause us to potentially miss going home, it’s going to piss us off and cause us to point our guns at you. Then it all just gets messy.

One of the last WWII Navy fighter pilots, a Hellcat and Corsair ace who flew from carriers like USS Hornet and USS Essex in the Pacific, has taken his final flight at age 103.
His wings carried the fight for freedom over places like the Philippine Sea and Okinawa. Long after the war, his humility, faith, and gentle humor kept carrying the lessons of that Greatest Generation to everyone fortunate enough to hear his stories.
