Today I thought I’d share a little glimpse of the atmosphere I usually work in, including while working on Sorry, My King. For me, part of the creative process is building the right vibe around myself first, so I can feel it and then bring some of that atmosphere into the game. #indiedev #gamedev #pixelart

One of those small details that makes a game feel a bit more personal. Art by: @lemon5ky @Lemon5kyArt Sorry, My King will have four knight schools, so I wanted the title screen to reflect your choice too. From now on, when you quit the game, you'll see your last selected knight instead of the default one. A tiny touch, but it helps make the adventure feel like it's truly yours. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame #roguelite #pixelart #screenshotsaturday #madewithlove #solodev

Development update: I'm adding hero classes to Sorry, My King. Before each run, you'll choose one of several Knight Schools. Your choice won't just change your stats it will reshape your skill tree, item synergies, and overall playstyle. Every run should feel like a different journey. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame #pixelart #roguelite #screenshotsaturday #madewithunity #indiegames #WishlistWednesday

Sharing a little bit of the development process. Right now I'm working on environmental animations. Grass and bushes will gently sway as you walk past them. Leaves will fall from the branches, and butterflies will scatter into the air. Small details like these make the world feel just a little more alive. #indiegame #gamedev #pixelart #roguelite #screenshotsaturday

Development update. Switched the location tiles to a darker palette. Added dynamic fog with a dispersing animation. The world now reacts to your movement is grass sways as you pass by. And my favorite part: I'm rebuilding the entire soundtrack. Same melodies, but with new instruments, vinyl-inspired mastering, and a haunting retro arthouse atmosphere. #indiegame #gamedev #pixelart #roguelite #screenshotsaturday

Art update for Sorry, My King. I'm moving away from the original 1-bit style toward a limited color palette with more detailed portraits. Thoughts? #indiegame #gamedev #pixelart #roguelike #screenshotsaturday

The second public playtest for Sorry, My King has officially come to an end. I want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to play the game, leave feedback, share posts on social media, stream it, or create YouTube videos. This kind of support means the world to an indie developer. Across the first and second playtests, more than 3,000 players joined the adventure. Thanks to your feedback, I've gathered a huge amount of ideas, bug reports, and suggestions that will help make the game even better. Now it's time for me to focus on preparing the game's demo. Before the demo is released, I plan to hold a third public playtest, hopefully this autumn. I hope you'll join me once again and help shape Sorry, My King on its way to release. Thank you for being part of this journey. ❤️

Sorry, My King. Only 1 week left before the playtest ends. Then it's time to polish the game and prepare the public demo for Steam Next Fest this fall. Play it while you still can! #indiegame #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #roguelite #horror #Steam #NextFest
