Campaigners like myself, who have worked relentlessly to establish a National Inquiry with full statutory powers, are outraged. This highlights a dangerous misunderstanding on the part of Reform and a reckless tendency to jump on the bandwagon. Such actions threaten to allow politicians who have been complicit in covering up the rape of children to evade accountability. This is the potential government that would actually be worse than Labour, as it is more dangerous.
