Parents, there is NOTHING beneficial that can come from yelling or “coaching from the stands”. Nothing. It’s not the time or place. It negatively affects your child, the other players, & the team in general. There’s a time & place for most things….that isn’t one of them! There’s never been a game won by a parent coaching from the stands but I’m willing to say there have been some lost.

Thank you Steven for mentoring the next generation of Little League umpires and for making the Arlington, Va. Little Leaguers a top priority! #LLCommunityHero
ALT Growing the next generation of Little League umpires, Steven Sundbeck works tirelessly to provide top-notch training for both new and experienced umpires in Arlington, VA. When he is not on the field umpiring games, Mr. Sundbeck is attending board meetings as a member, advocating for umpires and making decisions with the Arlington Little Leaguers in mind! Mr. Sundbeck is a mentor to both umpires and players and a great resource for all those who need a helping hand.
