Shopping centres, Flinders Street Station, Lygon Street, the CBD… the list of places where people have been attacked with machetes keeps growing. The government banned the sale and possession in 2025, ran an amnesty, and put up special bins. Reportedly thousands got handed in. (cough-bullshit-cough) I can't believe they actually thought that would work, because here we are in 2026 still reading about foreigners having machete brawls in public and random people getting slashed.
