Revealing. This supports the case to do more now not later to shape AI's introduction into society. I spent first half of my life trying to protect tech from the maw of the state. (Amid national telecos, it was right...) But now I seek multi-stakeholder fora to shape its impact.
Truly scary chart (credit @FT via @profgalloway) and another clear indicator that smartphones and social media are severely damaging the mental health of an entire generation...

Imagine McDonald's makes its own money, let's call them clown-bucks, keeps most of it, and sells some to the market. McDonald's then uses their remaining clown-bucks as collateral for actual loans. And then people remember clown-bucks aren't real.

I love listening to @sosofancy on ESG. He’s absolutely right - We are having the wrong debate and we cannot voluntarily comply our way to net zero. The rules of market need to change and the only way to do that is through so sort of government action that prices in externalities. – at Baltimore, MD
Just appeared on @CNBC @PowerLunch to discuss recent trends in ESG. Great questions from the hosts. (And maybe too strong an answer from me on one point, which I called "so stupid that I can’t believe we’re discussing it" 😂)
