In Elena Gorokhova's 2010 memoir A Mountain of Crumbs, she describes the Soviet-era "game of vranyo" (a ritual of collusive lying) with the line: "They lie to us, we know they're lying, they know we know they're lying but they keep lying anyway, and we keep pretending to believe them."

This is not misinformation.
That's what I normally cover - something out of context, an opinion quoted as fact, or a deliberate misinterpretation...
This is none of those.
This is full-on disinformation.
Because that is NOT from the Express. It is entirely fake😱

The Prime Minister proposes flying thousands of stranded migrants from Spanish enclave to Britain and housing them in London hotels. Monk Debunked stamp on top of both

Andy Burnham says he wants AI to power a new industrial revolution that drives good growth in every postcode.
Here is what that revolution actually looks like up close.
His business adviser, Varun Chandra, is the former managing partner of Hakluyt, a corporate intelligence firm. Chandra still holds shares in a company that owns the Hakluyt Capital fund, which holds a burgeoning portfolio of AI companies.
Burnham is implementing an AI industrial strategy that will make those companies very rich. The Cabinet Office's statement on Chandra's conflicts of interest said there would be "specific mitigations which can include recusals" when organisations he previously advised engage with government.

My new piece on how data centre AI Growth Zones are privatising Britain, and why the Andy Burnham Manchester Enterprise Zone is now the template for the entire UK.
This is about secondary legislation, mutated PFI, and a fifty-year mechanism that almost nobody in public life is naming.🧵

Trump is essentially monetising insider trading
For up to $100,000 a month, investment banks, hedge funds and algorithmic trading firms can now buy access to President Trump’s Truth Social posts milliseconds before they are made public.
The premise is that Trump's posts move markets so much that getting access to these posts mere milliseconds earlier is enough to gain an edge in the market – the elusive alpha that hedge funds are so obsessed with.

Joe Rogan has never looked more disturbed when investigative journalist Annie Jacobsen leaks that the first woman to make it on the FBI’s most wanted terrorist list tried to create an airborne version of rabies and she currently lives in Texas:
JACOBSEN: “There’s this woman who’s an Al-Qaeda terrorist that they put in a mental institution here in Texas.”
ROGAN: “😳😳😳”
JACOBSEN: “She’s an MIT trained biologist who was leading the biological weapons program. This is according to the CIA.”
ROGAN: “Oh my god she was trained at MIT?”
JACOBSEN: “Yes and then after her training she went back to Pakistan.”
ROGAN: “How come they have her in a mental institute?”
JACOBSEN: “Because after they caught her she supposedly got ahold of a Marine’s rifle and started firing at the FBI agent’s interviewing her.”
ROGAN: “WHAT?!”
JACOBSEN: “In her handbag they found plans to create a genetically modified pathogen that mixed rabies with chicken pox.”
ROGAN: “😳😳😳”
JACOBSEN: “This would be an airborne version of rabies that would have a 100% death rate on Americans.”
ROGAN: “Woahhh. Rabies makes animals super aggressive where they start trying to bite and infect anything they can get their teeth on.”
JACOBSEN: “They got the top biological weapons maker for Al-Qaeda to stop his work temporarily.”
ROGAN: “Temporarily? Ughhhhh.”
JACOBSEN: “Sorry Joe. This is the nightmare stuff.”

Massive Attack once again displayed the Palestinian flag on stage, this time during their concert in Massive Attack once again displayed the Palestinian flag on stage, this time during their concert in Singapore. The band is now under investigation for an alleged licensing breach, and Singaporean authorities have reportedly barred members from re-entering the country and said the band will not be permitted to perform there again. Similar imagery was prominently featured during their Bristol homecoming show, where visuals highlighting the humanitarian crisis in Gaza formed part of the performance.
For Massive Attack, these moments are part of a long-standing commitment to speaking out through their music and live shows.
Out of admiration and within support, we play our favorite song Live with me.
