I've been using Graphical to clean up and achieve a consistent UI for my internal tooling and CMS interfaces that i've built and it's been so helpful. Super fast way to unify and future proof an aspect I care about but don't really want to spend a ton of dedicated time designing for.
Shipped over 40 fixes and improvements to Graphical in Week 1, with so much more to come. This is also your one and only reminder it's 50% off for another ~48 hours. graphicalui.com/

🤢 Cancel my meetings. Moving all of my Sheets to @heyequals.
Does anyone know how I can pay Google all the money I have to not have to use this new version of Sheets?

Thanks @Nasdaq for spotlighting me & @Ask_Tia's inaugural #changemakers in women's health on the "big screen" in Times Square! The triple threat women face when it comes to our health is too big for any one of us to solve. Let's #makehistory together 👯‍♀️ #WomensHistoryMonth – at Queens, NY

Remote startups, finally a solution for all these state registrations and filings. Literally dealing with this right now, 30 people across 11 states. Can’t I pay someone to do this?!!??! Turns out now I can.
It's launch day! At @AbstractOpsCo we've we've gotten repeatedly pulled by customers in the direction of a) unblocking HR and b) easing bureaucracy and compliance. Why? Every time you hire someone in a new state, you have to register with 2-7 different agencies! (1/6)

A lot of people default to being a human GPT. Given a problem they return a first draft of a point-in-time solution absent self-critique and open-endedly await approval or direction. A lot of people are going to have to learn how to own problems soon.

10 years after iOS 7, GUI designers are attempting to draw graphics with lighting effects again. But their work looks comically primitive compared to the standard of a decade ago because their tools have devolved. Adobe gave up the ghost just a few months ago. Never quit.

The best part of working with @soopa every day is it's a masterclass in software design and development. That is also the worst part.

I’m old enough to remember when doubling down on R&D was the shrewd advice in a bear market, and startups were all about investing in R&D. It’ll be interesting to see whether sprinkling in AI will be enough for SaaS culture to escape its reckoning. Maybe this time.
If you’re a startup, now is the time to ensure 100% of your effort is going into the highest impact areas of your business. The side projects and low probability bets are for another time, you can’t afford to dilute your efforts now.

I think the next bust will be devastatingly brutal for the common startup of this era. This year will be a blip. We’re within 10 years of the software side of SaaS being completely commoditized, leaving most of these companies as ill-equipped and overvalued services businesses.

Sure, customer-funded businesses are a lot of work. They require a level of intellectual rigor that capital inefficient businesses just don’t. Still, surprised how willingly many avoid this in favor of the fundraise → sunset treadmill. VC is inherently incompatible with most.
