Watching ITV’s Reform documentary, and what’s shocking is how casually racism is treated.
An undercover reporter admits supporting Tommy Robinson. Instead of being rejected, they’re told how to hide their social media history and get through vetting.
Think about that. Reform officials are effectively showing people with far-right sympathies how to become candidates.
And Farage expects us to believe it’s all just a few bad apples.

The IMF is an organisation run for rich capitalists by rich capitalists
It couldn't give a shi*t about working people, the poor, or the vulnerable
Hence it will always advocate cuts to public services rather than taxing those with the broadest shoulders

This is a bogus argument. The U.K. needs imports because the North Sea is a mature hydrocarbon basin and production is in significant decline. The focus should be on reducing our demand for oil and gas but @Conservatives have no policy on promoting clean British energy.

As revealed all summer and, most recently below, the intention was always to extend the relationship.

I've watched BBC Breakfast and BBC News this morning and seen just a handful of mentions of the latest scandal involving Reform UK, following ITV News's investigation into racist, sexist and threatening remarks by party representatives.
Compare that with the seemingly endless, rolling coverage Nigel Farage receives whenever he makes an announcement. The anticipation beforehand, the live coverage during, the analysis afterwards, followed by endless discussion of what it might all mean.
Yet when serious questions arise about the conduct of Reform UK representatives, where is that same intensity of scrutiny?
I'm disappointed by the BBC's apparent lack of urgency and prominence in covering this story.
The BBC's Royal Charter commits it to providing impartial news and information that helps people understand and engage with the world around them.
That responsibility surely extends beyond amplifying political announcements to rigorously scrutinising those seeking or holding public office.
Impartiality doesn't mean giving every story equal airtime, but it should mean applying consistent editorial standards, regardless of the party involved.
The public deserves journalism that holds political power to account, not simply coverage that gives politicians a platform.

✅ France has now dropped its opposition to Britain being included in the EU’s “Made in Europe” industrial policy, provided the UK aligns with Europe on trade defence, including Chinese EV tariffs.
This is the real post-Brexit world:
the closer Britain aligns with Europe, the more access and protection British industry gets.
Geography, supply chains and shared economic interests are reasserting themselves.
Brexit tried to pretend Britain could detach itself from the European economic system.
Reality keeps pulling us back towards it.
NEW: France has dropped its opposition to the UK being included in the EU’s “Made in Europe” legislation as long as the British government aligns with the bloc’s position over tariffs on Chinese EVs.
In a breakthrough for Andy Burnham, Paris on Thursday came round to backing Germany, which has always supported the UK’s calls to be designated European for the purposes of the Industrial Accelerator Act.
The legislation, which is in its draft stage, is designed to protect domestic manufacturing from cheap Chinese competition.
According to a joint Franco-German paper seen by the Guardian, the two countries are now proposing that for the car industry specifically the UK could be included in the "Made in Europe" scheme. @lisaocarroll reports

Don’t forget, when Richard Tice first attempted to get ahead of this ITV expose a couple of days ago, his method of attack was to go after ITV, threatening to sue.
But he went further, he called this behaviour a symptom of people’s anger, justifying this behaviour.
This is what Reform always does. They are playing the same populist cards of the Trump administration. Blame absolutely everyone but yourself, never accept responsibility when caught out, and deceive everyone.
This lot are deplorable.

ITV Exposure spent a year undercover inside Reform UK. ITV News has published the first findings. These are the words of Reform councillors, quoted as ITV reports them.
Alan Feeney, Solihull councillor and deputy mayor, on canvassing: "If it's an Asian name, I'm not even knocking at the door, they're not voting Reform and I ain't wasting my time." He calls it "Alan's racist canvassing".
On what he'd do: "You'd need a proper nuclear option, like literally drag them at their homes, stick them on planes and f*** them off to Pakistan. Which you'll never do in a month of Sundays."
On winning power, recorded in February: "You've just got to be a bit savvy to get the broad appeal, then once you're in you can do what you want."
Two Hounslow councillors, recorded in Makerfield. David Kerr: "You need to seem palatable to everyone to get them, to get [the majority]." Adam Parkins: "The stuff that people feel uncomfortable with, don't even announce it just do it... We just need to get f****** elected, that's all that really matters. We won't necessarily say what we are doing, part of the point is to not [say]."
Raymond Dunning, Tameside councillor, in a pub, on what a Reform government should do: "I'd deport every other motherf***** in this country that doesn't deserve to be here and their children as well." Asked if he meant legal migrants too: "Even the legal ones." He talked of training "18-30 year old young lads" in the army "in insurgency tactics, so they can go street-by-street, house-by-house". A Reform official is heard saying the plan "would create massive civil unrest".
Dean Miller, Bromley councillor: "We've been ethnically cleansed out of London." ITV also reports racist remarks from him about children. On the King, he claimed Charles is secretly a Muslim: "Apparently King Charles is a f****** Muslim. Someone from the inside saw a f****** prayer mat and all that in one of his f****** rooms. I think that's f****** traitorous. Cut the c***'s head off, sorry." Miller told ITV he was heavily medicated for a chronic pain condition at the time. He has resigned.
ITV reports that Chris Whelan, a Solihull councillor, made sexual remarks about two female candidates, including that he would sexually assault one. He has resigned for personal and health reasons. Jamie Campbell, also Solihull, is quoted on a possible mosque: "go and buy some pork chops. We'll bury it in the ground." ITV says Feeney, Campbell and Whelan have yet to respond. Kerr, Parkins and Dunning have been approached for comment.
Martin Roberts, a Pontypridd branch treasurer, is reported using racist language while canvassing in Caerphilly. He told ITV he was being humorous, regrets the language and denies being a bigot or an extremist.
Reform's response: "Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced... a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations."
Nigel Farage, July 2024, on bad apples: they "will be long gone, and we will never have any of their type back in our organisation. You have my 100% promise on that."
Richard Tice says one person filmed was a "Tory plant" who knew they were being recorded. ITV says he did not name them but his description suggested Feeney, who defected from the Conservatives in 2025. That is Tice's claim. He has also accused ITV and Hardcash Productions of "probable criminal activity". I have seen no evidence for it.
The full film is on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday 18 October at 10:20pm.
