I've stopped following spoilers since very few new cards are strong enough to have an impact in a MH-metagame. But Monument to Endurance is a card that I'm intrigued by - looks great with some of my favorite Grixis toys like Psychic Frog, Ledger Shredder, Burning Inquiry etc.
Clearly WOTC lacked both balls and brains at the last B&R, and considering how mismanaged the format's been post-MH3 I don't really dare hope for anything tomorrow. But if they decide to keep Ring around once again I feel like it's the nail in the coffin for Modern.
I'm tired of facing Boros Energy so haven't played any leagues in a week. Gave in and played a league - and faced four Boros in a row. Whelp, guess I won't be playing any more for the foreseeable future. I started playing MTG in 94 and can't ever remember Modern being this bad.
I've basically stopped playing leagues on MTGO, I haven't really found Modern to be enjoyable since MH3. It's absolutely insane to have Energy win 90% of the last 20 Challenges or so, not to mention the fact that The One Ring appears in more than 50% of all decks. Terrible meta.
Feels like it's time for me to take a break from Modern. I don't think the metagame ever has been this dull, we're now looking at 40+ % Energy and 40+ % The One Ring. I just faced Zoo, Mill and Energy all running TOR, it's crazy that we have to endure this for 3 more months...
The top 8 of Nordic Masters featured several innovative decks including a sweet Azorius Martyr-version, and was won by Samwise Combo! It baffles me that the online metagame is so narrow compared to the much more fun and much more diverse paper meta.

Is there any fair deck that has a good matchup vs Boros/Mardu Energy? Or is the huge prevalence of Energy going to be pushing everyone to play unfair stuff like Storm and Through the Breach, and we're back to "two ships passing in the night"-Modern?
I like that WOTC admitted that Nadu was a design mistake and that they should have banned it sooner. Unfortunately they'll have to copy/paste this at the next B&R when they ban The One Ring. It's going to be four very long months...
I have been struggling with getting good results post MH3. It feels like fair magic has been completely powercrept out of Modern - nowadays you need to play Ring, Phlage, Nadu and Sol-lands if you want to be competitive. I'm eagerly counting the days 'til the B&R announcement.
WOTC, you know what would Modern more interesting? Unbans. There are so many fun cards that deserve a second chance. Fury, Deathrite Shaman, Lurrus, Yorion and of course Splinter Twin, just to name a few. Time to broaden the metagame and not restrict it to MH3 Tribal.
