The always highly entertaining @songoinfo #ChampionsRace was won, in searing heat, by Luke Moir and Jolanda Neff yesterday. Moir had to outfox 3 Cannondale Factory Racing riders to defend his title, while Neff held off Tyler Jacobs to win on debut.

Heal up quickly Brad! 🤕
Coach Brad Stow took a tumble at the songo.info BMX track this week and has had to have surgery to reset a broken collar bone. 6-8 weeks off the bike are going to crawl by, but hopefully the kids will keep you smiling with their antics.

We always need volunteers. If you'd like to help out at the clubhouse - teaching your specialist subject, teaching kids to cycle, or just lending a hand - drop us an email to [email protected] with details of when you're available and what you can help with.
Ntlantla Nonkasa is building up to the @sanlam @CTMarathon in October, then shifting his focus to the bike for the @FNBSA @w2wmtb Shiraz in November. He'd like to go sub 3 for the marathon this year after a 3:07 in 2024.
songo.info update with Mr @sipho_madolo. There's a lot on the go and so much more just about to happen. Stay tuned!

Getting girls on bikes isn't difficult. Keeping girls interested in cycling through their teens has proved more difficult. Recently, songo.info has had graduates return as coaches, and the impact of these young women is already starting to bear fruit.

It's not easy teaching across all 12 year groups while also helping the songo Tots learn the basics of numbers and letters, in preparation for primary school. Thank you for everything you do Miss J 👩🏫

The songo.info programme relies on the hard work and support of a number of incredibly kind women. Nomvulo and Ntandokazi are two of the stars of the organisation, feeding 100 kids hot meals every weekday.
