Recording incoming early next year for those of us who missed it.
Thanks @gasciaouzounian
Absolutely incredible keynote from #louischudesokei - on sound, technology, race and space in the Black diaspora, sound systems & speaking in echoes in Jamaica, listening differently, communal audition and sound as identification in contested space, and so much more. Blown away.

#OlaniEwunnet opens with her talk on Sonic Floral Imaginaries of Ethiopia. Taking us through the unheard sonic discourses of African landscapes, and introducing us to the #Anchihoye, or ‘flower’ scale, a keynote of Ethiopian sonic culture that shapes ecologies and urban centres

Thank you, @gasciaouzounian for opening our #NoiseMatters workshop with a great presentation on the sonic terrors and aftershocks of war - reminding us of how people get traumatised by the sounds of bombs and "dronespheres" (@aroosakanwal74) as we sit here #shockCity @wavematters
