This is freakin' crazy - so DeepSeek has 10 month payback on GPU purchase, despite being 20 times cheaper than OpenAI/Anthropic. And they are enabling everyone + every company to have your own AI, your own inference, your own data.
Cancel the fucking IPOs đ This is so insane đ
Wow đ€© The whale đł isnât just shipping highly efficient, affordable frontier models - theyâre open-sourcing the production inference stack that actually serves them at scale.
DeepInfer (Apache 2.0) powers DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash w the same high-th/put, low-latency runtime used in production. It includes optimized kernels, Attention DP / balanced CP, MoE EP + EPLB, DSpark speculative decoding w confidence-scheduled verification, SWA bounded replay (to cut prefill work), 0-overhead asynchronous scheduling, batch-invariant inference, deterministic sampling, + structured outputs.
Offline inference examples run from local Hugging Face checkpoints w no network required once the weights are cached. They also open-sourced deepseek-recipe, the production tokenizer/encoding path so community deployments match official API behavior.
Open models + open kernels + open production inference. Thatâs a meaningfully different trajectory the whale đł is offering to the world. I freakin love these guys đđ„čđ

We are releasing DeepInfer, deepseek-recipe, and other vital components for serving DeepSeek models in the hope that more companies and organizations around the world will deploy DeepSeek models and profit from doing so.
đ Introducing DeepInfer, our in-house inference framework, now fully open source!
Powering DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash at scale with high throughput and low latency. Weâre sharing our production stack to help the community lower compute costs, reduce energy use, and make AI more affordable.

George Friedman ran the CIAâs most influential private intelligence firm for decades.
In 2015, at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, he said this, on the record, in public, without apparent concern about being heard:
"The primordial interest of the United States, over which for a century we have fought wars, the First, the Second, and the Cold Wars, has been the relationship between Germany and Russia."
Not China. Not terrorism. Not ideology.
Germany. Russia. The combination.
He said the goal of American grand strategy, for a full century, has been to prevent those two powers from integrating, because if they did, the resulting combination of German industrial capacity and Russian resources and energy would create a Eurasian bloc that no other power could check.
He said this clearly.
He said it because he believed it.
He said it because it is true.
Every European leader who spent the following decade telling their citizens that American and European interests were identical should have been asked, on camera, to respond to what Friedman just said.
None of them were.

To frighten their own people, they conjure up an imaginary enemy in the sky to overshadow the real threat on the ground.
The real danger lies neither beyond their borders nor in the skies over Los Angeles and San Diego. It lies in a ruling establishment that has imposed an illegal war on the world, with global consequences.
The U.S. president has even described the destruction of Los Angeles and San Diego as âa very small price to pay.â
This is a textbook example of the politics of fear: frightening people with an imaginary threat, portraying the destruction of their own cities as an acceptable price to pay, and diverting their attention from the real danger.

No living Western politician has this grasp of history and philosophy, which is why we should probably embrace and celebrate Iran and its enlightened leadership instead of assassinating them year after year.
At the Acropolis, Marco Rubio (mis)presents the history of the West - from ancient Greece to the contemporary United States - as a single, seamless continuum. This is the logic of anachronism: a distortion of historical time produced by the careless fusion of categories such as Greece, Rome, Christianity, Europe, America, and, ultimately, âAmerica First.â It is as if America has finally discovered that 'intimidation' can be staged more effectively beneath the neon lights of a philosophy of history than in the bare idiom of the cowboy.
Rubio lifts the Greek concept of 'thumos' out of its historical and philosophical setting and recasts it as a celebration of power - of force exercised without law or justice - along with competition and national will. That reading misses a constitutive half of the Greek inheritance. Greece was not only a theater of power and glory. It was also the birthplace of the tragedy of hubris and aggression, from the myth of Troy and Homerâs Iliad; of the critique of imperial ambition in Thucydidesâ History of the Peloponnesian War; of political philosophy in Platoâs Republic and Aristotleâs Politics; and of enduring meditations on the limits of power, moral responsibility, and human fate in Sophoclesâ Antigone and Oedipus Rex.
This other half of the Greek legacy is deliberately omitted from Rubioâs narrative. History is thereby converted from a field of inquiry and critical reflection into an instrument of political legitimation. What emerges is not a philosophy of history, but a manufactured narrative designed to authorize U.S. militancy and to construct a convenient political myth: a distorted reconstruction of the past in which the politics of the present are made to appear inevitable and historically ordained. Once history is pressed into the service of legitimizing powerâthe unlawful and unjust use of forceâits purpose is no longer to understand the past, but to glorify power itself.
Vasily Vereshchaginâs The Apotheosis of War offers a stark counter-image. Its pyramid of skulls, left behind by conquerors, confronts the mythology of glory with the material residue of conquest. It recalls what remains when history is reduced to the exaltation of power.
At such a juncture, Western thinkers have a responsibility to defend history itself - and the philosophical complexity of Western civilization - against a distorted and apologetic reinterpretation by an aggressive power prepared to sacrifice a civilizationâs human achievements in order to legitimize the unrestrained exercise of force.
The danger lies not merely in misreading the past, but in appropriating it to authorize that force, and to aggrandize it, in the present.
ok, I don't blame her for using this as a chair lol

Itâs not China they fear.
Itâs what China disproves.
That a nation can rise without plunder.
That poverty can fall without war.
That growth doesnât need Wall Street permission slips.
That a billion people can be fed, housed, and educated without invading anyone.
That is what terrifies the empire.
Not tyranny.
But competence.

HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of people around the world woke up today to articles by Reuters and other media saying that the US Coast Guard intercepted a ship carrying âillicit fuelâ to Cuba.
But is that what really happened?
No. A crime was clearly committed in international waters. The US commandeered an entire shipâincluding its cargo, which included fuel, and the crew. The snatching of the ship was revealed yesterday, although it happened on 5 September.
The vessel called M/V Grace was taken over by the US Coast Guard in Caribbean waters between Mexico and Cubaâwhich the US is starving of fuel.
.
LEGAL AND ILLEGAL
It is 100 percent legal for countries to give or sell goods to each other, as long as there are no UN sanctions against such transfers.
In contrast, the USâs unilateral fuel blockade of Cuba has been repeatedly shown to violate international law, AND the UN Charter, AND sovereign equality regulations, AND the principle of non-intervention.
The US actions against Cuba have also been shown to contravene the most basic principle of moral justice, which forbids collective punishment.
To put it simply, youâre not allowed to force families in Cuba to go hungry and hospitals to close down because you dislike the fact that the country has resisted US regime change operations for decades.
Regime change itself is also unlawful.
And then of course we have the US's illegal summary executions of at least 231 people in more than 70 strikes in the Caribbean seas and east Pacific.
.
ILLEGALITY ASCRIBED TO THE WRONG SIDE
Yet the reports by Reuters and other media carefully omit all this absolutely crucial contextual information.
They do, however, contain multiple references to illegal actions being taken. In every case, these push the absurd position that the USâs victims are the criminals. For example:
- Reuters quotes a US Coast Guard statement saying that the vessel was carrying containers âbelieved to contain illicit fuelâ.
- Reuters quotes US admiral Adm Kevin Lunday saying: âThe high seas are not a sanctuary for lawlessness.â
- Reuters includes his warning that that ships which quote âengage in illicit activities will not evade justiceâ.
Literally all references to illegality in the report are ascribed to the victims, and none to the United States.
Cuba deserves better. And so do the people around the world who depend on the western mainstream media for their news.

JAPANESE CONFUSED THAT U.S. SAYS CHINA WAS THEIR 'ALLY' IN WW2
âThis man is your friendâ â thatâs a message to the American public from their government, in these [WW2] posters about the Chinese and about Russians.
Iâve dug them up, and some others, because I was sorry to hear that some people in Japan were confused to hear that China and the US were allies in world war 2.
Hereâs a headline about it â and another one. And a few others.
Let me solve the confusion of our Japanese friends. The US says China was an ally in World War 2 because it was an ally in World War 2.
It was an ally against you. You Japanese people invaded China and killed a lot of people. China fought back, giving up more than 20 million lives in the fight. Russiaâs sacrifice was even larger. UK and US were also good allies on the same side, losing about 500,000 lives each.
.
GOOD MATERIAL
The Americans produced some good material to help people in the west understand that China and Russia were their most important allies in this battle. [âChina: First to fightâ]
âHelp China, China is helping usâ â the picture was created in 1938, but was turned into a poster about three years later.
âThis man is your friendâ was published in 1942 by the US Office of Facts and Figures. âHe fights for Freedom,â it says.
And the British made a poster to make it clear where the problem came from. âSmash Japanese Aggressionâ their poster said.
So I hope that helps our friends in Japan to stop being confused.
Peace.

There are people who truly believe that when the U.S. sends troops, it is because it could not bear to see injustice.
This is the same country that lived with slavery for centuries, segregation for generations, police killings on camera, and cages full of migrant children.
If it cannot protect human rights in its own streets, what miracle do you expect at twenty thousand feet over someone else's country?
The only right it consistently protects abroad is the right of its corporations to own, extract, and dictate.

There isnât a Department of War propaganda campaign from the gates of hell that can undo what I am reading.
Itâs over for Turning Point USA. The most damning part? They refused to participate in the independent review while publicly lying about what took place. They lied repeatedly and publicly.
I am thoroughly disgusted with Erika Kirk.
All of this information was at her fingertips and she attempted to be a helpless widow while allowing her employees to publicly lie.

Parents have emailed me about another âsecretâ event that Erika is doing today addressing middle schoolers and high schoolers in Idaho.
It is a daytime event at a private Christian school (I will not name the school or town) and the parents are not welcome to attend.
My question is why? Why is TPUSA suddenly focused on espousing politics to underaged kids? And who is privately pushing for or funding this?
Everything about this makes my skin crawl.
