No Kings response to Meta:
“In the 24 hours before our account was shut down, we posted a handful of times and livestreamed to thousands. Meta's "high-frequency" excuse doesn't add up…We need answers about why this happened & immediate action to ensure it never happens again.”
Everyone forgets the Gray Album remix from Dangermouse
Just for context, this was Jay-Z’s 2003…
- He started the year off still riding high off the success of “The Blueprint 2” which dropped in November 2002.
“‘03 Bonnie & Clyde”, “Excuse Me Miss”, and Freeway’s “What We Do” were still going strong in early 2003. Then at the top of the year he was featured on Talib Kweli’s “Get By (Remix).” All of those records carried him into the spring, and then the following happened…
- April - “Beware of the Boys (Remix)” with Punjabi MC.
- 4/18 - S. Carter Collection sneaker with Reebok.
- 4/18 - “S. Carter Collection Mixtape”
- 4/29 - “La La La (Excuse Me Again)” off the Bad Boys 2 Soundtrack.
- 5/14 - “Crazy In Love” with Beyoncé.
- 6/3 - “Frontin’” with Pharrell Williams.
-6/18 - Grand opening of his 40/40 Club sports bar.
- June-August - Co-headlined the “Roc the Mic Tour” with 50 Cent.
- 8/12 - “It’s On” with Beanie Sigel.
- 11/14 - “The Black Album.”
- 11/25 - “Farewell” concert at Madison Square Garden.
And I’m leaving out a bunch of other standout features with OutKast, Memphis Bleek, M.O.P., Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, etc.
Albums released by Roc-A-Fella Records in 2003…
2/25 - Freeway - Philadelphia Freeway
3/25 - The Diplomats - Diplomatic Immunity
8/12 - State Property - The Chain Gang, Vol. 2
8/19 - Juelz Santana - From Me To U
12/16 - Memphis Bleek - M.A.D.E.
And Rocawear generated upwards of $300 million in revenues.
Much is made about 50’s 2003. But Jay was every bit as dominant that year. The whole year!
I’ve watched all my favorite teams win at least one championship in the last 20 years (Giants, Knicks, UConn)… while great experiences/memorable, those wins didn’t change my life in any meaningful way. You root for health, always. It’s just entertainment with fabric with a logo
Jay-Z is not my goat, but the “didn’t dominate an era” argument is dumb.
Especially coming from captain co-sign who’s career flamed out quickly despite getting an insane push from the most popular artist at the time (Em)
50 Cent DEBATES with Andrew Schulz’s co-host AlexxMedia over Jay-Z, claiming Hov NEVER dominated rap musically like people think and used his LABEL to put himself among the GREATS, before saying Jay-Z NEVER beat him and did EVERYTHING to make sure Kanye West could 😳👀
“Jay-Z is significant and a phenomenal artist, but even better at maneuvering himself into that position without the music actually doing it. They did every f-cking thing, they unloaded the bank, to get that Kanye record into a good space. Then it worked.”

Once I had kids going to NYC for shows on a whim got tougher, so I shifted to local venues/music and I must say I love it. Sure the production is far simpler, but music is music and local talent is working hard

Eric Schmitt: I wish for text messages that will produce a jaw-dropping moment in the Jack Smith hearing — a moment that will become so famous, so stunning, that everyone in Washington will talk about it, and me, for decades.
Evil genie: Your wish is my command.
I’m not joking when I say that opinions and people like this are what will drive kids BACK to instruments and live shows to create something and connect with others vs. typing in some prompts that steals from decades of actual musicians
They came THIS close to breaking free of the Skywalkers… the Last Jedi wasn’t good, but the idea anyone can be a Jedi/important felt like the right move… and they made her a Palpatine instead lol
Jon Watts is set to direct ‘STAR WARS: EPISODE 10’.
The film is intended to be the beginning of a new trilogy in the Skywalker Saga.

The *entire point* of this scene is that Bryan’s paternal instincts overwhelm his survival instincts. It sets up the tragic irony that underpins the whole movie: the traits which would have made him a good father are the reason he’ll never become one.
One thing I’m yet to understand about the Resident Evil 2026 movie is Bryan’s stupidity in this scene. He knew she was infected, he could clearly see it, and he still went ahead to try to carry her. Like, even if Zack Cregger wants to portray Bryan as dumb, there’s an extent to which one can be dumb. He saw that same thing earlier absorb another person, and what went through his mind was that it wasn’t going to happen to him. I’m not one to backlash at a movie or a character, but this one really got on my nerves!🤧 #ResidentEvil

How Ms. Rachel would be moving if we gave her a g*n
Ms. Rachel blasts Republican Christian hypocrisy: “Let’s be a more Christian nation and take away SNAP benefits. Let’s be a more Christian nation and put our neighbors and put the strangers in detention centers. Let’s make more and more money and not help others and let’s deny people’s healthcare. But the SNAP thing, that just breaks me. You’re gonna complain about a child having enough food?”
