I mean, yes, it's 90s-coded. Semiotically, tt reminds me of those awful tribal tattoos that also peaked in the 90s. They identified what Italians called "tamarri" (smthg like chavs, or the Jersey-shore set). Similarily, the Granola mark of infamy identifies meat proxies.
