I just learned that Ex-Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan is dead. Last December, barely 10 months ago, I broke the news that he and his wife were aged and sick, so-called “moderates” called me names. In less than eight years after he left office Uduaghan, alongside his wife, fell ill and aged rapidly. He didn’t live to enjoy the wealth he spent the better part of his time in office accumulating. While I respect the dead and wish his soul some rest at least, I remain unmoved in my position on his legacy. It is a shame that he governed one of Nigeria’s richest states and had nothing to show for it. We have to normalize shaming politicians who did nothing while in office other than show their people crude wickedness.✍️
