Tiafoe’s girlfriend yells “don’t think!” No better advice for an experienced tennis player. Hard to get out of your head but so necessary. #USOpen2022 – at San Mateo, CA

I’m confused by the general air of surprise. This—the election will take several days to resolve, due to mail voting; the President will use that period to do what he can to try to claim power—was the widely expected outcome; it has been projected for months.

This woman is exactly how a leader should behave... with kindness & compassion. I trust her and am inspired by her. Who can be our version of her?

Make no mistake about this: Donald Trump is going to receive a lot more empathy today than he typically gives others.

If you're looking a weirdly funny, perhaps a little nauseating trip down memory lane of the horrific highs and spectacular lows of SF real estate over the past few years, check out my interview with the lovely @BrockKeeling, former editor of CurbedSF: 48hills.org/2020/09/reflecti…
Reflections on a phantom mall—and other local property follies - 48 hills

Change doesn’t happen overnight until suddenly it does. On the other side of this current struggle are the long awaited breakthroughs people have been striving toward for decades. We will see it in our lifetimes if we seize the moment now.

A lot of interest this weekend in the smoke forecast. This image shows lots of smoke/dirty air offshore (black circle) with the cleaner air well offshore (blue circle). Increasing Southwest winds later Sunday into Monday should eventually bring that air our way. #CAwx #CAFires

Climate scientists are like the person in the back row shouting "hey, ah, actually, I can see flames...and they're getting pretty big! We should probably leave now." And the guy in the front row shouts back "well if the fire was really that bad someone would come and warn us!"
