Great news #LakeDistrict @111places is going for a reprint, 3rd edition in 4 years, a popular guidebook even if I say so myself. The inspiration comes from U & I need your help. What else would you include & don't forget it's the whole of #cumbria #fromlakelandwithlove #adventure

If like me, colours are a source a fascination, listen to Alexandra Loske talking about what could have been the first abstract painter. It opens so many theories....fascinating.
Beyond excited about this:

That was a lovely visit today - what a great place! Four years ago I took a photo for a book by @pebblesoupp and @MartinDunford #111PlacesGreenwich and wondered what it was like inside. I was not disappointed!

Seal in the Thames at Greenwich this week. Assume it’s a grey from the size (absolutely huge) and nose (roman). Obviously filmed on my phone - you get to see full size as he dives at the end. NB it’s near Waitrose island .

There are still tickets for the FUME festival Tomorrow @woolwich_works tomorrow, it promises to be an interesting festival full of flavours. Sadly fully booked Sat and Sun. Never realised BBQ and pits were that popular, i thought it was just my neighbours 😄

A beautiful picture and a great addition to instagram.com/111placesingre…
The new lighting on Greenwich foot tunnel rotunda looks magnificent and one has to commend the company ‘Exterior Architecture’. This was funded by UK Prosperity Fund and I do wonder about maintenance (previous project neglected) and of course the lifts are a serious issue.
