Antisemitism has no place in our society, and we must do all we can to tackle it.
Today marks three years since October 7th 2023 - the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
On that day, Hamas terrorists unleashed a wave of barbaric violence, murdering more than 1,200 innocent men, women and children, and taking 251 people hostage.
We remember all those murdered.
May their memory be a blessing.

A great few days at Labour Party Conference!
It was fantastic to contribute to a range of panels, roundtables, and receptions on issues including mental health and adult social care, alongside welcome announcements on social care services and the return of Sure Start centres.
Yesterday, I spoke with ITV Meridian and shared my ‘message to the PM’ for their piece: the Government must keep backing international rail to deliver good growth in every postcode across our region.
