Mind the gap. 🚆🌱 The gap between nutrient presence and nutrient availability. A soil test can tell you what’s there. But what matters to the crop is what’s actually available when and where it needs it. That’s where micronutrient management gets interesting. Because present ≠ available.

Zinc tests deficient in 66% of Saskatchewan samples, 61% in Manitoba and 30% in Alberta. And in our own trial work, fields testing squarely in the adequate range still returned a measurable yield response.
