I am grateful to get an opportunity to speak at Cybercon conference. Some great luminaries will be speaking and I am so looking forward to be there.

I am grateful that my CFPs were accepted and I am honoured to be selected to present two talks at @AISA_National CYBERCON 2026 in Melbourne. The two talks are on Security of GitHub Actions and MCP. #Cybercon2026

While in India, I like to use Blinkit/Zomato for ordering stuff and within 10 mins they are there, very convenient. I live in Australia and yesterday the minimum wage for delivery workers was set to $31.3/hr. This is the stark difference, no min wage for gig workers in India.

I just helped my dad fill the India e-Census form and it was very underwhelming. Most Qs are probably set in 50s/60s ,like if you have a radio transistor. No questions on key demographic data like education, income, employment, age, disability, veg/non-veg, religion, culture etc.

I live in Australia but visit India twice a year. Since last year, my dad's health deteriorated and I had to interact with hospitals, CGHS and HI. My first observation is there is just too much paper processing and bureaucracy. No one thinks from customer's perspective. 1/n

India needs customer centric business process redesign catering to old, low literacy and tech unsavvy citizens. Paper process needs to drastically simplified. Every CGHS billing requires a patient photo and photocopy of CGHS and Aadhar card. OTPs every time. It's poor UX. 2/n

I don't know who designed Health Insurance for India but it is very complex and I read horror stories. Aus is not utopia but at least anyone can get a HI online in 1 minute, no health check required. Pre-existing cond covered after 1yr waiting, and fully portable, no limits.

Hey @AWSSupport your AWS Free Sandbox Environments launched with great hype doesn't actually start. Always gives an error code. Raised a ticket from builder support without any response so far. So much for the announcement.

Disappointed with @github. I signed up for CoPilot Pro 30d trial on March 19th. I got many emails that I will be automatically billed for subscription. But I was not billed and saw the blog post that GitHub is removing Pro subscription. Please honor people who has already signed.

A small example of living in Australia. I put new down lights 4 yrs back. One stopped working. Took it out to the store, gave my number, no receipt. They checked in system and gave me instant replacement under 5 yrs warranty. Warranty rights are so easy here.

I'm in Australia this week, and we're releasing a new country report from the Anthropic Economic Index. Here's what we found about how Australians use Claude. 🧵

Tried @SarvamAI , the default text-to-speech on the dashboard in Bengali. The voice is not 100% native natural Bengali (Bangla). There is a Hindi accent which is noticeable. Good step but not realistic yet.

Recently I was in India, looking after my dad's health issues. The MRP for the cancer drug he was prescribed is Rs 50,000 for only 4 days supply of tablets. In Australia the same drug will cost $7.7 ( Rs 462). #India may have decent pvt hospitals but not affordable healthcare.

I read a lot of posts on issues with health insurance in India. I live in Australia. The main issue is HI in India requires underwriting, wheareas in Australia it doesn't. Rules are not customer friendly in India with best interests for its citizens. Why I wonder?
