thereโs a confused hum, glancing at the earsโฆ not like the fact that he was a bear was unknown but rather why he thought it would bother kwan.

thereโs a wave of his hand, scent still bitter and tail still between his legs but his ears had raised some and his gaze had raised back to him.

it was murmured softly, gaze looking away. his own scent, similar to orange and vanilla had become muted and burnt, a frown on his lips, โ iโm not used to wanting scents in my nestโฆ โ

as a cat, heโd bring one of his favoritesโฆ a catnip filled squirrel. it was an attempt to comfort and calm and being a cat furthered his empathy and caring instincts so he could do so without hesitation.
approaching @altruisticbambi as a humanโฆ yet there was a cat toy in his mouth. a large fish toy that smelled of catnip.
dropping the toy at their feet.
his grip loosened upon hearing those words, a look of surprise crossing features. the venom was gone, the anger was fading, a soft shaky exhale as those words sunk in. . . that was all he'd ever wanted to hear. perhaps besides an explanation of why he couldn't be good enough โ
