ANC municipal excellence from Tshwane. They just straight up stopped chlorinating the water at Bronkhorstspruit for three weeks because they ran out of chlorine after a supplier dispute and never bothered to tell anyone. Now 408 people, mostly kids under four, are down with gastrointestinal illness, diarrhoea, norovirus, Campylobacter and Shigella after drinking the sewage-laced stuff coming out of the Bronkhorstspruit River. The river is already swimming in E. coli from dysfunctional wastewater works and broken pump stations, and the city still decided the chlorine budget could wait. Mayor Nasiphi Moya casually admits negligence like it’s a minor admin mix-up. No warning, no alternative supply for weeks, just “oops” while clinics fill up. This is what basic service delivery looks like when the people in charge treat water treatment as optional.

"This is how protesting is done" - Greta Thunberg Are you awake yet? These people dont give a damn about the planet. They dont care about world peace. They dont care about anything else apart from implenting their new world order... and this is how they get there. In order to build the new digital world, they must first destroy the old. In order to have a just reason to lock us down to their dystopian measures, they must first bait us into showing them why we deserve to be treated like out of control cattle. Saturday 20 February 1999. Fred Wallis Pettit (79), Landskrona farm, about 13 km outside Queenstown (now Komani) on the N6, Eastern Cape. Another South African farmer, another gentle soul butchered on the land he worked. Fred Wallis Pettit lived alone on Landskrona. A former chartered accountant who took up farming, long time Rotarian, and former president of the Eastern Agricultural Union. The Daily Dispatch reported that a Queenstown shopping centre was named after him. His friend Jack Hodgskiss described him as “a gentle, soft spoken man who had no enemies.” Farmworkers last saw him alive at around 6 pm on the Saturday. At 6 am the next morning, a worker arrived to milk the cows, rang the bell for him to open the stalls, and got no answer. He and a second worker found a lounge window open and ran to a neighboring farm for help. Police and family were called. His nephew, Tim Pettit, found him dead on the lounge floor. He had been stabbed many times in the upper body; repeated, deep wounds driven into his chest, torso, and upper body while he was alone in his own home. An elderly White man, a community leader with no enemies, left bleeding out on his lounge floor after an attacker (or attackers) forced entry through the window and attacked him with a knife over and over. No mercy for the 79-year-old who had spent years serving agriculture and his community. This is the reality of farm attacks in South Africa; soft-spoken White farmers, Rotarians, former union leaders, slaughtered in their homes with nothing taken that justifies the savagery. Stabbed repeatedly until they could no longer fight or call for help. And it has been going on for decades while the same patterns continue.

Thursday 25 May 2017, the murder of Bert (Albertus “Bertie” Albert Cornelius) Janse van Rensburg (67), of Welbekend near Rayton, east of Pretoria. Bert and his wife Bets (Elizabeth) lived alone on their smallholding at Welbekend, just off the Bapsfontein–Bronkhorstspruit road (R25). Neighbors described them as a gentle couple who sold coal from the holding. Just before 8 pm the alarm went off. According to the local paper, Die Bronberger, Bets ignored it because their cat often triggered it. Soon afterwards she went out to lock the garage, as she did every evening, and five armed men overpowered her. The elderly couple were tied up. Netwerk24, quoting police, says they were dragged outside, tied to the fence, and shot. Bert died lying next to his wife. Bets was taken to a local hospital in a serious condition after being assaulted. Bert was shot from behind through the neck and head while kneeling. Bert was then taken into the field with his hands still cuffed and shot in the chest and head to make sure he was dead. He was found later with grass and sand in his grey hair, still cuffed. Bets later testified that she still lives in fear and has moved off the farm into the city. This was a classic execution style farm murder. Five armed men overpowered an elderly White couple on their own smallholding, beat them, robbed them, tied them up, dragged Bert outside and shot him in the head and neck/chest while he was helpless, kneeling and cuffed. The ANC government and its media allies continue to call this “ordinary crime” while White farmers and pensioners are hunted, beaten and executed on the land their families built. Another life taken, another widow left terrified, and the same denial continues.

This Christian toddler is now an orphan. His mother was murdered by Muslims in Nigeria for the crime of being Christian. Where are all the protesters? Where are the “but the children” activists and podcasters? Why do the media and politicians remain silent? Oh right… they can’t blame Jews so they don’t care. Charles Botha (72) and his wife Joey (71) had farmed Kaalvallei, between Naboomspruit and Vaalwater in Limpopo, for nearly 25 years. On 8 February 2006, their son Deon and a neighbor broke into the locked house. Joey lay under a duvet in the bedroom, her face crushed, apparently with a brick. Searchers found Charles 2 km from the house, hidden under branches. His Achilles tendons had been slashed, and he had wounds to his legs, back and head. Nothing of value was taken. The guns, phones and bakkie were all left behind. No arrest or conviction was ever reported. They were buried in the family cemetery on their farm. Remember their names.

February 2009, Dr Paul Meyer (38), Selati nature reserve, Gravelotte, Limpopo. Wildlife vet Dr Paul Felix Wouter Meyer (38) was murdered after an armed home invasion at his family's home on the Selati nature reserve near Gravelotte. At about 22:00, Paul, his wife Marilise, their baby son Wouter, and neighbors Pierre and Sue Gallagher had just finished eating in the second-floor kitchen. Four armed men broke through the window burglar bars, came up the stairs, and fired a shot that hit the microwave. They tied the adults up with belts and ropes, made them sit under a table, and ransacked the house. Police later said firearms were taken. The attackers forced everyone into the Meyers' two white Toyota double-cab trucks. Near the reserve's main gate, Paul told his wife he was doing this for her and their child, then tried to grab an attacker's pistol. He was shot and died instantly. Marilise fell over him and was pistol-whipped. When she jumped from the bakkie, she was dragged back and beaten with a monkey wrench. From the second truck, the Gallaghers saw Paul's body thrown out and dragged into the veld. In that vehicle, whenever baby Wouter cried, the attackers put a pistol to his head and told Sue Gallagher in English to quiet him "or we make him quiet forever." They drove about 70 km toward Phalaborwa, left the tar road, and ripped out the bakkies' tracking devices. At about 04:30 they fled with the vehicles and the loot. The survivors reached the road, were picked up, and were taken to a neighboring farm. One truck was later found abandoned in the Kruger National Park. Police stopped the other with a spike strip, and the attackers ran on foot into Mozambique, where there was a shoot-out with Mozambican police. No further details or court outcome has been verified.

Another one they think the world will forget. Raffaele Mastrogiuseppe, 69, an Italian immigrant who left Larino at 19 in 1969 and spent half a century building farms, industry, and an economy in South Africa was shot dead in his own farmhouse at Houtpoort outside Heidelberg, Gauteng, in the early hours of 3 October 2018. He was alone. Between roughly 01:00 and 02:00, five attackers got onto the property and into the house. Police said he was shot in the upper body/chest and died at the scene. Italian reports and family accounts go further; he was making tea when he realised the danger, was hit, tried to get upstairs, and was finished on the staircase. Relatives later said he was shot three times in the back and then in the head. They loaded a safe and household goods into his Chrysler and tried to flee. A security guard on duty spotted vehicles moving around the farm around 02:00, flagged a police patrol on the Balfour Road, and one suspect was caught still on the property behind the wheel of Raffaele’s car. The safe was recovered there. Only then did officers find his body inside. A second suspect was tracked to Ratanda township with a getaway car, stolen goods, and an unlicensed firearm. Charges of murder, house robbery, illegal possession of a firearm, and possession of stolen goods. Bail applications were heard in Heidelberg Magistrate’s Court in December 2018 and postponed. No public record of a trial, conviction, or sentence after that. At least three of the five walked free as far as reporting goes. His son Paolo wrote that his father left Italy at 19, spent 50 years creating an economy for South Africa, paying tax, and feeding people through farming and industry, then was murdered by five cowards on the family farm. His niece called him her second father and said the farm murders and the horror stories are real. As he wished, his ashes went home to Larino. This is what “isolated crime” looks like when the target is an elderly White man on his own land; five of them, the cover of night, a gun, a safe loaded into his car, and a justice system that loses the thread. We will not forget.

Please answer these valid questions, @RudaLandman1 . Failing to answer will confirm our suspicions that you are jast an ANC cadre, spewing whatever your master instructs!
Dear Ruda Landman (@RudaLandman1), In 2003, you narrated and produced a segment called Bloody Harvest for Carte Blanche. It focused on farm murders in South Africa. You interviewed Gregory Stanton, who heads Genocide Watch. Carte Blanche even flew to Berlin to interview him. He explained in detail what a genocide is and why it could be the case in South Africa. In 2003, he already stated that South Africa was at Stage 5 out of 8 on the Genocide Watch list. You, as Ruda Landman and as Carte Blanche, then laid out the case for him and showcased various farm murders in South Africa and how the aim was to torture, rape and not steal anything. May I ask, Ruda, since this interview, thousands more farmers have been brutally murdered with exactly the same modus operandi, and yet now you are the one saying that farm murders are just normal crime. I would like to know why you feel this way and why, with all the overwhelming evidence confirming what you illustrated in your segment over 23 years ago, you now feel differently and go so far as to call it "normal crime" WARNING: THE VIDEO IS VERY GRAPHIC, SHOWING VICTIMS OF FARM MURDERS.

ATTACK THE MESSAGE? OR DISCREDIT THE MESSENGER? I promised myself I would never dignify anything published by @News24 with a formal response. But its hit piece on Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma demands one. Let me be clear: this is not an endorsement of Jacinta or the March and March movement per se. It is a defence of her right, as much as mine and that of every other South African, to hold this government to account on issues about which we feel passionately. What the editors at News24, huddled around their editorial cauldron, concocting the latest batch of ideological gruel to serve their readers, appear to have missed is one rather inconvenient fact: Jacinta's message resonates with millions of South Africans. And not one of them seems remotely interested in asking the most obvious question of all: Why? Instead, we are served a steaming bowl of hyperbole, histrionics and emotionally charged sound bites. Anything, it seems, to avoid confronting the substance of the discontent. So let us strip away the theatrics and get to the heart of the matter. This government has, from the outset, abdicated its responsibility to serve the best interests of the South African people. And the government we have today - the entire political establishment, not merely one party or faction - has become a malignant mass, a festering cancer on the body politic. The real story isn't that Jacinta is saying things that make News24 uncomfortable. It's that millions of South Africans are listening - because, after decades of broken promises, corruption, incompetence and political indifference, they have every reason to be angry. And perhaps that is the question News24 should be asking itself: not why Jacinta is speaking, but why so many South Africans feel she is worth listening to. Doxxing Jacinta, threatening her, and attempting to portray her as dangerous, as though she herself represents the problem in South Africa, is an exercise in creative deflection. It is far easier to vilify the messenger than confront the message. Far easier to intimidate a citizen than answer the questions she is asking. And far easier to manufacture a public enemy than acknowledge the failures of those who actually hold power. When the spotlight falls on the messenger rather than the message, ask yourself what, exactly, they are trying to distract you from.
