They are CFTC regulated and prob got there via spending a lot of money greasing the right palms inc Don Jr. A lot of political incentive to go after them now.
If this blows up, Jump prob pulls the liquidity too. Jump can fuck around with shady volume-for-upside deals when nobody’s looking, but it stops being +EV when all eyes are on you and the regulators might come sniffing.
Crazy to see bc @icobeast is obv a smart guy and was prob just playing the crypto game and toeing party line to bullpost Kalshi but damn just goes to show the dangers of fucking around with an autist with a grudge.

No SNARK wrapper. No trusted setup. No external proving service. Just STARK proof verification directly via the EVM.
The more amazing thing is that they did not hide any technical details at all. Of course, the cost of gas is enormous right now.
Looking forward to the next potential steps, which could involve optimizing the gas costs and implementing testnet where users could build proofs on their own devices.

this is a serious issue. i have chatGPT negotiating a longstanding and complicated dispute with a major airline (non US) on my behalf for a few weeks. It handles all the back and forth itself.
this morning i saw my sent emails and was shocked to see how aggressive and threatening it was at times.
problem is, if i don't give it auto email send permission, i become the bottleneck and the automation isn't nearly as useful.
haven't found a good solution to this so far but i am all ears.

The schools are solely to blame for their poor fiscal policy. If they're building Frankenstein (in the form of massive debts), then stop.
Don't go to the government and ask for regulation.
Congress should make them look inward instead of bailing them out to the detriment of college athletes.
