Amazing to hear a senior Pakistani commander complaining about the Afghan Taliban supporting Islamic terrorist organizations, including al Qaeda whose leader enjoyed the protection of the Pakistani military for many years, just a stone’s throw away from Rawalpindi - the home of Pakistan’s military elite. And how’s this for irony: the Quetta Shura that ran the Afghan Taliban for decades was so-named after the Pakistan city of Quetta where they were based & from where they commanded their terrorist forces on the Afghan battlefield, murdering countless Afghan civilians & killing both American service members & Afghan soldiers & police. Irony is really not strong enough - it does not address the blatant hypocrisy & dishonesty of the Pakistanis. For decades they have been the undisputed territorial leaders of the Islamic terror world, serving as a home & a refuge & an operational training base to more Islamic terrorist organizations than any other nation on earth. The tribal areas of Pakistan were the undisputed sacred ground for any Muslim terrorist group waging war on the west. Now there is a terrorist regime in Afghanistan & their old friends in the Afghan Taliban are not playing nice anymore - they have turned on their Pakistani masters & are supporting Islamic organizations like the TTP, the Pakistani Taliban who are at war with the Pakistani govt. The Arabs taught me a saying when I was living in Iraq that says basically “when you live with a snake in your garden, it eventually finds its way into your house”. That is what has happened here to Pakistan. They created many of these monsters & now the monsters are in their house, using the knowledge, skill, money & training agst those who helped create them. It is a form of poetic justice. Yet many will fall for the slick arguments Pakistan leaders make, especially many on the Hill in the U.S. & the Taliban and Pakistan apologists in the NSC & State Dept. It is nauseating to say the least. But more than that, it is profoundly dishonest & damaging to this nation to buy the Pakistani BS.

If you care about the trafficking of children, you need to hear what this man has to say. I just watched it all over again. Absolutely mind-blowing. We have to have accountability. We cannot be a society that allows children to be raped & sold as a matter of govt policy, funded by American tax dollars. It is much bigger than partisan politics. At no point should we allow this again in our country. Do not be silent or passive.
