• The “Normal People” stars, along with Jessie Buckley and numerous other artists, signed an open letter stating: “Sally Rooney is a writer, not a terrorist. Her books must be available to the public.”
• Last year, Rooney pledged to use her book royalties to support Palestine Action, a pro-Palestinian group designated as a terrorist organization by U.K. authorities.
• Rooney now says efforts to publish her work in the U.K. “could now constitute a serious criminal offence.”

Russell Brand‘s criminal trial continued in London on Tuesday with testimony from his fourth accuser, who alleged he sexually assaulted her while she was working at Capital Radio in the early 2000s.
The woman claimed he pushed her against a wall during the work day and began kissing her, describing the alleged attack as “violent,” “sloppy” and “frenzied.”
