Natalie Christian and Rachel Pigg of the University of Louisville (UofL) are seeking a graduate student (PhD) to assist in the development and assessment of a new course-based undergraduate research experience(CURE) for introductory biology students. Start date is flexible (January or August 2022). The graduate student will be co-advised by Drs. Christian and Pigg, and will investigate the impact of the CURE on both undergraduate students and graduate teaching assistants. At UofL, graduate students in biology education receive their degree from the Department of Biology and coursework towards their degree is flexible. The successful applicant for this position will be supported on a graduate teaching assistantship ($22K/year+ tuition & health insurance). Interested applicants should contact Dr. Christian (natalie.christian@louisville.edu) and Dr. Pigg (rachel.pigg@louisville.edu). Deadlines: November 1st or January 15th (dependent on start date).
