Sophie is the first female Managing Editir of @LBC and the fourth I have worked under in my 17 years on the station. Tom’s promotion is hugely deserved and he has given me huge support and friendship over the years. Sophie had been a breath of fresh air in her role as Tom’s deputy. She’s a leader and not afraid to call a spade a shovel and understands what it takes to make great speech radio. She makes a difference, and I’m looking forward to working with her as she leads the team into a new era for our brilliant radio station.
