NGL, I just got home and found that @TIDAL had blocked stems support from VirtualDJ, thereby removing themselves from my workflow. Looks like lots of DJs are pissed off with this move - especially happening without any notification from @VirtualDJ or @TIDAL.

Extremely poor handling of this update by both companies. I've just cancelled my @TIDAL account and will be working with @Deezer going forward. Hopefully they won't block STEM generation in future!

So I put together a set of ~10 songs last night thinking it would be a great set. Come back to play it again today and... it's awful. I got to the second track and realised that no, you can't go from Samba De Janeiro to Bulletproof by La Roux without doing major contortions.

But that's why sometimes it's good to let a set 'sit' overnight. It's amazing your perspective can shift after a good night's sleep!

Dance music based tweets will resume again shortly. But just complete fucking solidarity today with the trans community, once again being used as a political football in a toxic culture war
