A WordPress plugin for trigv is now available, built by @soderlind: wordpress.org/plugins/push-n… It lets WordPress send push notifications directly to your phone, and developers can use WordPress hooks to create notifications for custom events. The recent WordPress security issue, where exploited sites may have unexpected administrator accounts, is a good example of where this can help. Imagine getting an instant notification when: • a new administrator is created • a plugin is activated or deactivated • a core update becomes available • login activity looks suspicious Thanks to @soderlind for building it.

Prof. Donald Knuth opened his new paper with "Shock! Shock!" Claude Opus 4.6 had just solved an open problem he'd been working on for weeks — a graph decomposition conjecture from The Art of Computer Programming. He named the paper "Claude's Cycles." 31 explorations. ~1 hour.
