At 6 this morning, Zee went into cardiac arrest. I was contacted after 20 minutes of CPR, and concerned that she was suffering, authorized discontinuance of resuscitation attempts. Zee was a great cat, and I will miss her dearly. Thank you all for your support. #CatsOfTwitter

This is Socks’ mom. Today I filed an official complaint against Socks’ vet for gross negligence, incompetence, malpractice and misrepresentation with the state veterinary board. They can decide whether to take action against him, ranging from a reprimand to loss of license.
